Overall Rating
In Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad, most of things are good such as hostel life, college life, average faculty, labs, and classes. In this college have decent placement cell as it provides placements to more than 70% students in on-campus placements so that is why I select this college. In our campus, we have many clubs and cultural program that we can join and have experience. It has auditorium for academic programs.
 

Academics Rating
This course is suitable for me. Admission process of our college is handle through CAP counseling. It is an online process. Students who crack ranking criteria can get admission in our college. In our college, there are mid semester exam and one semester exam which taken by GTU. We require 100 activity points.
Mostly our term fee is Rs. 1,500, hostel fee is Rs. 1,250 and exam fee is Rs. 850 for GTU and Rs. 300 is PRC fee. Yes, we can get many scholarships as per our percentage and cast.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties in Vishwakarma Government Engineering College, Ahmedabad are good. However, I do wish that they completed syllabus on time. All the faculties are open-minded and kind. They teach us well and try to solve all the doubts. Even some of the faculties try to be our friend. They teach us through textbooks & PPT. In our branch, we have two professors for one subject for 120 students in class. All teachers give their contact details to us so that we can ask doubts anytime.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, my college has a placement cells. Mostly 70 to 90 students get on campus placements. This placement did basis on SPI, CPI, and our project we did in our college. In our college Infosys, Nirma, and TatvaSoft like companies have visited. In our college, highest placement is around 21 LPA from electronic and communication branch.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college has a 3 hostels, one for girls, & two for boys. These hostels are allotted based on ACPC ranking, cast, and distance from home. Both girl’s and boy’s hostel have mess. Mess food is not up to the mark. If students are satisfied with the mess food, they can use tiffin service.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus has A to N block. All the blocks are assigned for distinct departments. A block is a student section, M & N blocks are for new students, and all the other blocks are for different branches. Our college has a football ground. E block is known as Gymkhana, where we can play table tennis, carom, and badminton. In addition, college has round campus and it is truly very difficult to find blocks. I am a second year student and still get confused.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is too good. Crowd is huge as the campus is filled with students. I have many friends from different places. Mostly students are from Gujarat. College has many clubs like cultural and NCC. We celebrate Ganesh Utsav, Navratri, Holi, and Sankranti (in hostel). We have many programs like fresher’s party and traditional celebrations. All the seniors are helpful. There is no ragging here.

    The Vishwakarma Government Engineering College in Ahmedabad is best place for getting education as you will find most of all the engineering branches here. As the faculty here is very supportive and always ready for mentoring I found this college very enriching. It adds value to learning.
