My Views on Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat is one of the beautiful institutes that are present in Surat. It is in top 10 national institutes of technologies. The NIRF rank of the institute was 59. This institute offers different kind of courses. This is one of the institutes that are present inside the city. The infrastructure of the institute is good. You can enjoy a lot in this institute. Many events will take place in this institute.
 

Academics Rating
The professors of the institute are highly talented. For first year student mostly teaching assistants will take the classes. We have 2 semesters per year. In total we have 8 semesters. For each we have one mid sem examination. Mid sem is of 30 marks. If you fail in the exam you can write a makeup exam in order to get pass in the subject.
I have the Computer Science and Engineering course in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. You can get seat in this through Jossa counseling. In class 12th you need to clear the JEE exam to get admission in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology. The fee structure of the institute for this course was around 1.5 lakh at the starting. You need to pay mess fee separately for every semester. You can get fee remission depending on the father’s income.
 

Faculty Rating
Professors who are teaching in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat are highly talented. But mostly for first year student teaching assistants will be teaching. They will not have much experience. Most of the facilities use ppts to teach the classes. In every class you will have 85 students. They will try to provide a lot of information to the students. The teachers will come on time to the classes.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat is located in between the city. The institute is in area of 250 acres. Most of the land was trees. The buildings are very old. But the institute management is building the new buildings every year. The infrastructure is better comparing to other institutions. Institute will provide bus transportation for the students. Institute has separate building for students of all years.
 

Campus Rating
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat is one of the best institutes in India. The institute may contain nearly 8000 students. There are many clubs in the institute. You can participate in them. Many students can get help of their seniors. Institute will encourage you to participate in many events. You can enjoy many fests in the institute. Extracurricular activities are also organised in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

    SVNIT is part of one of the top institutes of India. It provides students all the required facilities and encourages them to develop and learn skills on their own.
