My Personal Opinion on KIIT Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
My experience in KIIT has been by far a roller coaster ride. I am studying in fourth semester in Computer Science and Engineering. It has a decent fee structure with has a good and well-balanced atmosphere for studies as well as other factors like sports and recreation. In addition, this university is private and has no entrance system as well as has an updated syllabus and courses.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering in B.Tech because it has been my field of interest in recent years and is solely based on my previous interests in this subject. There is no entry requirement in my college and students can join in second year from Diploma courses as well. The admission process is direct. In each semester, there are two exams: mid semester and end semester examinations. The academic preparation is average and is mostly self-study.
For students from India, the fee ranges from 20-25 Lakh while students have scholarship schemes.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is solely based on whom you select because there are different subjects and different faculty members, which are selected in starting of semester. The teachers are well trained experienced and educated.
 

Placement Rating
I have not much idea about placements but it is average as much as I heard from seniors. On campus placement is average but if you can grab off campus ones, it will be better.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, college has well equipped hostels but they are spreading across the town.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good in KIIT. There is bus service for students. There are cafeteria, library, etc. for students to relax as well as study. In addition, there are football grounds, internet services, and auditoriums as well. There is university hospital where students get free checkup appointment and it has a good and budget treatment processes. Campus is very big and the atmosphere around is mostly students. The seating capacity is good of 80 students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is amazing as there are various things and events like fests, events, etc. In addition, there are 18 to 20 top tier clubs here, which organize various events time and often. There are also many extracurricular activities and events where students get to perform their talents and display their skills. Annual fest is organized and some celebrities are invited here.

I had no other good choice rather than to join this Institute.     This Institute is a combination of extracurricular activities and great academics. KIIT provides a beautiful natural environment for students to study and perform their various vocational activities. One who is a great fan of sports and culture must come here cause it is the domain of all these.     KIIT is one of the best engineering institutes with a massive campus of above 600 acres. The classes are very modern and the hostels are very good. You can get hostel as per your affordability and the mess food is also good. There are study rooms in hostels and the library is huge. There are many fests which will never let you feel bored.   • KIIT: Paramount Facilities to have a Dream College Life

    This institute is good. The fee is a bit higher than the other institutes. This still has some positives. For example, the institute provides a laptop to its each student. This laptop is of the latest model, and it's price is included in the fee.
