DAV PG College: A College in Peaceful Ambience

Overall Rating
The college provides a platform for student through which a student can also practice for competitive exams while pursuing graduation. I chose this course, as it is beneficial for my further studies. The college provides a great chance to students Politics. As of now, many politicians on higher positions have studied in DAV PG College Dehradun. The college does not burden a student to attain 75% attendance, giving them flexibility.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria is that one should get minimum of 40% marks in class 12th irrespective of any stream chosen. The admission process of college is completely upgraded to online sector. One can apply from home and only time, a student has to come to college is to submit his or her documents manually and collect their ID card from college.
The annual fee for Bachelor of Arts is Rs. 2000 only excluding the examination fee and the registration fee. The overall fee would be approximately Rs. 3,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of DAV PG College Dehradun is supportive in every aspect, whether to give information about their particular subject or in any other subject. In addition, a student can also get life lesson from experience of teachers. The teachers are easily approachable for doubts in their particular subjects during their free time. All teachers are experts in their particular fields.
 

Placement Rating
As of now, I haven’t applied for any type of placement as I am an UG student but the college does provide the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The college does not have any hostel but rooms on rent are available in nearby areas.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college was built in 1904, which is during the colonial era. Most of the buildings are from that era only with minor modifications. However, it gives royal feelings while wandering inside the college premises. On certain distances, the water facility is available with clean and maintained washrooms. The college have parking area within the campus and a cafeteria with numerous variety of food. Sports facilities are also available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of college is full of enjoyment and adventures. The NCC parade every morning fills the campus with the feeling of Nationalism in one's soul and a louder National Anthem provides feeling of patriotism.
