NiT - Our college, Our pride

Overall Rating
I'm currently in second year in this college and till now I had a nice experience overall. I chose this college and this course as it matched my likings (I opted for ECE). This college and course gave me pleasure and I executed nicely here with my full potential and hard-work. This college is different from others or not, I don't know but I'm happy here. Students can see many colleges but this one is very good.
 

Academics Rating
I chose ECE as I had a keen interest in both hardware and software technologies and this course brought to me both, the very reason for which I chose it. A student can be eligible if he passed 12th standard and may be given preference if they have appeared in any competitive exam before joining college. Admission is merit wise here. We have 2 exams (semester wise) in a year. The curriculum is good for real world challenges.
Overall fees for ECE – Rs.5.20 LPA (now it has increased near to Rs.6.00 LPA)
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here and teachers here are very good, nice and experienced ones. Some of them have an experience of more than 20 years. We have both white boards and smart classrooms and the teaching methodology is nice and practical one. The interaction between students and teacher is nice and formal and students get much help from the teachers every time if needed. I, personally have a very good bonding with the faculty members.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our infrastructure is good and we also have our own library, placement cell, clubs etc. We also have 2 auditorium halls. Our canteen, cafeteria, lake side, gym adds extra to our infrastructure facilities. My favorite thing in college is the playground which is very big and spacious and all sports can be played there. Our smart classrooms are very good and with the blend of good teaching skills, we enjoy being taught there.
 

Campus Rating
Our overall campus life is very good and enjoyable. There are many clubs for student’s. I am a club members of painting club. Teachers encourage us, apart from studies to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which motivate us more to express ourselves. We have 2 fests – ‘Kritanj’ and ‘Navodaya’ every year. I personally have a good experience till now in my college campus.

    As per my WBJEE rank (within 29k), Narula Institute of Technology was a better option. Its performance is getting better day by day. One of the notable points is its campus, it's better than all the private institutes in West Bengal. So these were the main reasons for choosing this institute.     I took Admission in this college in 2023. Initially I was worried about my decision but after 1 year I think I made the right choice. The environment of the college is good the faculties are experienced. The placements are as good as any other private college in Kolkata.     Overall, it's a good institute. It’s a nice place to study as it provides such an environment that is perfect for learning new things. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful which really helps in studies. Apart from studies, we also enjoy a lot in the college as it organises different fests and events.
