NIT Trichy is Number 1 Among NITs

NIT Trichy did not just help me grow professionally but it also helped me grow phenomenally as a person. I interacted with many people despite being an introvert. It has the greatest alumni network, sports clubs, best seniors-junior interaction, and much more. I did not this institute but it chose me, and I don't want to ignore it. It is different when compared to other institutions in terms of campus area (it is approximately 800 acres, and you can't live here without a cycle), each place is huge and far away. If you are planning to join this institute, trust me it is far better than other state government colleges, and thus it holds the Number 1 NIT for a reason.

I got Civil Engineering through counseling. Talking about academics over here, it is easy to get good grades if you read properly. Curriculum is good and makes sure that students can gain quality education.

There is a famous scholarship called as RECAL scholarship, which is provided by the institute alumni to its current students. there are many other scholarships also.

When it comes to faculty, almost all the professors are chill and very eager to teach the students to the extent they want. In this college, teachers play a very crucial role in student’s life. some of them give PPTs while other just gives books. All of them are great and spend a lot of time clearing students' doubts. You can also get an internship from your own professors, if you are interested in it. they will guide you on a good path for your life.

You need to do one internship after your 3rd semester. it is necessary to do an internship after your 4th semester (summer intern) also. There is a Training & Placement cell inside the campus, which will take care of all the placement-related things for students.

Talking about the hostels, boys and girls live in different hostels. in the first year, the curfew timings are strict for both boys and girls.

The infrastructure of NIT Trichy is good as compared to other colleges. For academics, we have a library, a computer center which has high-speed internet (Octagen), aircraft, Orion (classes are held), OJAS (lab), Lecture Hall Complex (first years classroom), Admin block (famous one), Barn Hall (Orientation will be held here), and Golden Jubilee (Huge Hall). There are also sports complex, NSO ground, Jade Ground (Helipad Ground/NCC ground), and CEESAT Ground. there is hospital inside the campus along with facilities like swimming pool, Krishna foods (near Orion), Billy NITT, Coke station, Lassi Shop, Bru station, Sugarcane shop juice, CCD, and many others things.

There are many technical and nontechnical clubs. It is a bit hard to get into technical clubs. Some of the clubs are Pixel (photographic club), Spider and Delta (Coding club), 3D Aeromodelling (Aeromodelling club of NITT), dance and music troupe, TEDx NIT Trichy, Lakshaya (Defense and civil services club), Graphique (Designing club), Athenaeum (political club), various sports contingent, Ignite (Teaching Club), Streaks (Fashion design club), RMI (Robotics club). There are also various teams of fest, Pragyan, Festember, etc. to conduct the events smoothly.
