All About Facilities in IIITDM Jabalpur

Overall Rating
Overall experience of IIITDM Jabalpur is good. Infrastructure is quiet good, but place is little bit odd. CSE and ECE placement are good. Some good companies come here to take student (placement purpose) and that's it. Others some factors are also good.
 

Academics Rating
Actually, my course is Smart Manufacturing. This course is new compared to other courses. In this institute, you can get admit in B.Tech through JEE, DASA, and SII according to your rank. The rank does vary from year to year. There are two semesters in a year for every B.Tech course. For first two semesters, the syllabus is close to your 11th and 12th base concepts. if your base is strong then you don't have to give that much effort. It will be easy for you.
It takes fee that includes charges for tuition, mess, and hostel. For first semester, the total free with admission is around Rs. 1,05,750 In which Rs. 15,500 is admission fee. This fee is same for all the categories. then academic fee per semester is Rs. 7,500. Then the tuition is varying with category, for the gen category, tuition fee is Rs. 82,750 and for other categories, it is Rs. 11,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty member of IIITDM Jabalpur is highly qualified, holding PhD from reputed institution. They also have strong research background in their respective field. The teaching method are mostly likable.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is not that much high or not that much low. For CSE and ECE department, offers and CTC is good. Average package is like 10 to 12 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is okay. Girl’s and boy’s hostels are separate. there are two girl’s hostels and 4 boy’s hostels. Some of the things and amenities in the hostel need to be improved.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of IIITDM Jabalpur is quite good. Campus is 500 acres in area and is located 8 to 10 KMs away far from Jabalpur city. all the facilities are good as well as classroom. library, seminar hall, and conference hall are also present there. There are two indoor game arena, and two open fields. There are also a open-air theater, where held on different type of cultural program.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. During morning classes, there is noticeable crowed. There is multiples clubs sports, technical, cultural, and others. For every year, the institute arranges some activities. If I talk about fests, they are average.

    The institute offers a variety of courses and has good placements which make it one of India's prestigious institutes. It has good clubs like Cultural Club, Technical Club and Sports Club in which students can participate and enjoy their institute life by gaining knowledge.     Overall Rating
    IIITDM Jabalpur was really a good experience. I enjoyed a lot and gained a good amount of knowledge from the institute. The college life is good here. The main thing I love in the college is interaction between the seniors and juniors. The culture of the college impressed me. I choose this college because of three reasons. One is my JEE MAINS rank and other is the average package and median package, and the last one is the faculty due to their qualification from well known institutes.... Read Full Review

    Well if you go by placements then this institute has better placements than most other NITs which you would get at the same rank. After spending a year I can say it has a very good environment for both your personality development and overall growth. You will have good junior and senior bond and can ask for any help from your seniors. The college life is good and satisfactory; you would enjoy the festivals a lot.     I am a 1st year student at IIITDMJ. I am overall very happy with my experience at the college. The campus is good and spacious. The hostels are pretty good compared to other colleges. The mess food is average. We only have vegetarian food in the mess, but from April 2024, non-veg will also be served in the mess. The faculty that have taught me so far, have been good.
