VIT Vellore Stands Out for Computer Science Enthusiasts

I have joined in VIT VELLORE in the year of 2024 as a fresher in B.Tech course. The college is very big and the college infrastructure is very huge and they provide an excellent opportunity for students with quality teaching and equipments. If these are correctly used by the students it's a very useful thing. The crowd here is quite big compared to many other colleges in India, but things run perfectly without any delay. They maintain premises neatly everywhere, green trees around us all the time. There is even a railway track on which trains run inside the campus (Non-stop). Many sports clubs, Technical clubs which enhance student’s growth in physical and mental terms.

I chose computer science and engineering, as I was interested in it and found out that the best college for it is VIT Vellore, as it's equipments in high quality and quality digital teaching is also available. You have to write VITEEE exam and crack it to join VIT. The exam has a similar pattern to the JEE mains. We have to submit many documents after joining the college for some verification process, and we have to sign on some Rs.100/- bond papers as we agree to join the college with the rules they have written. Exams are divided into 3 categories, Mid 1 (CAT1), Mid 2 (CAT2), Final Semester exam (FAT). Some quizzes and digital assignment are also undertaken in between. The academics prepare us in many ways for real-life challenges such as they will teach you how to make a decision when a particular tough situation occurs in real life and how to overcome it.

The fees is for year wise and I paid Rs.4,05,000/- . As I belong to the category 3 CSE CORE. Another Rs.2,00,000/- Lakhs for hostel and mess.

Faculty is fine, If you are good with them and obey their orders there won't be any problem. Unless you argue with the faculty and obey their orders without disrespecting the teacher in the class, he / she will be very happy to teach you. There are classes taught digitally and they also teach on the white board, according to the topic and its complexity. For every class the teacher and student ratio is around 1:64.

Placements are guaranteed to those students who won't misuse the opportunity and equipment provided by the management. Maintain a higher CGPA, along with the development of skills to get into a good company. Almost every type of company comes to VIT Vellore bi as well as small. They hire people according to their requirements.

Hostel is very good and they maintain a neat premise and there is greenery everywhere. Wardens are quite irritated as they deal with huge number of students everyday. So we have to understand and respect them. Hostel fees per months is according to your requirement, I have taken a 4 member deluxe AC room and special mess for Rs.2,05,000/-.

Infrastructure of the college is very good and the campus is very big around 300+ acres, It has swimming pool, football ground, cricket ground, huge auditorium. The classrooms are also very well designed. Almost every block has a badminton court for students to relax. There are 3 gyms for men, One free and two paid gyms are available. Academic facilities are at its best position.

Campus life is very good and crowd is big but things run perfectly and according to the time table provided. There are so many clubs in VIT VELLORE, and you can choose any club you want related to sports, academics, enjoyment, music, cultural and a lot more. There are 2 main fests per year one is GRAVITAS and other one is RIVIERA, and a lot of events are also planned for entertainment purpose. My college life up to now has been good.
