KIIT, Bhubaneswar : My Honest Opinion

Overall Rating
I have been studying here for 2 years and I pretty much like the atmosphere here. The faculty and teachers are good and cooperative. Besides there is a good facility of sports and recreational activities as they are highly encouraged here. There is good environment for all types of students at KIIT, Bhubaneswar, those who want to focus on studies or those who want to focus in sports or those who want to focus on self development as well. The place is well facilitated with stores, malls, and hospitals nearby.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Computer Science here. I have chosen this because KIIT, Bhubaneswar is well reputed for it and it is also my field of interest. The entry requirements are not there I think since it is a private university. I am well prepared and there is good study atmosphere to make someone feel confident for the future. Also, there is system of interview and entrance preparation courses So I think it is fruitful for students.
I have paid Rs. 12, 20,000 for my 4 years course as I have international students scholarship programmed. There is as per my knowledge KITEEE exams for Indian students to study here. Except these there are various schemes like SII, DASA, COMPEX, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers at KIIT, Bhubaneswar are average. I think it is just who you choose as your faculty because some teachers are nice good and understanding while some are always strict with the students. You have attended every class and never talked in the class but you get is 13/14 out of 30 and every student get such marks in some teacher’s case so this means that you have to work really heard in studies.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell and director. Many companies visit the KIIT, Bhubaneswar yearly and also mass recruiting is done by many companies. But you need to be extraordinary for getting good packages and if you are average you are picked by mass recruiting companies and you may not get a decent life style.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are there at KIIT, Bhubaneswar. There are 26 boy’s hostels and 9-10 girls hostel. Hostel facilities depend upon the hostel you choose because some hostels have premium packages like AC, balcony, etc. for which you need to pay extra. There are rules and timings as well mostly of 7 PM in most hostels. The food hygiene is not that nice in my opinion but the food is tasty and it won’t make you feel hungry if you eat it on time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is the best at KIIT, Bhubaneswar. There are well equipped sports facilities, activity centers, laboratories and strong wifi networks. Medical facilities are also nice as the university has its own hospital which is relatively cheaper than other hospitals and also is well equipped. My favorite thing is sports ground and gym. It is really nice and well equipped. These facilities greatly boost my experience here. The transportation system is average. That’s all for infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at KIIT, Bhubaneswar is good. There are various events, fests, etc. where students perform and enjoy their times. I am in a club and it has really good atmosphere. We meet new people, we go to new places and there is also a domain we choose based on our skills.

    KIIT is an Institute where the main goal of the Institute is educates tons of children. The batch of 2024 has more than 4000 admissions. I had no other good choice rather than to join this Institute. Well it is not totally bad Institute if you can focus on yourself and use the resources efficiently I think you can achieve great things in life.     This Institute is a combination of extracurricular activities and great academics. KIIT provides a beautiful natural environment for students to study and perform their various vocational activities.
