Experience of VSSUT

Overall Rating
My overall experience was decent till now. Factors that made me choose this institute was It's 75 year legacy and alumni network. It has a big campus area of about 500 acres. Placement is decent and better than other state government colleges. Core placements are quite good. Faculties are good. Green campus. Hostels are decent. Mess food quality is decent. There are many clubs due to which college enhances its students participation.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. One has to secure a decent percentile in JEE mains and have to apply for OJEE counselling to get in this college. Over-all there are 8 semesters in 4 year B.Tech degree programs and each semester is divided into odd and even semesters and each semester is of nearly 4 months. In each semester there are class, labs, seminar, quizzes, practical, mid semester exams.
The fee of my course in VSSUT (ETC) is about Rs.89,000/- for whole year and For SSC courses the fees is double.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are quite good. Nearly all are qualified and experienced. They are supportive and friendly in nature. They solve each and every problem of students in study as well as in real life. Faculties assist in GATE preparation and placement preparation. All the teachers try to teach on smart board rather than black boards. There are about 80 students in classroom. My experience with faculties is overall good
 

Placement Rating
Placement is quite good in VSSUT compared to other state government colleges. Placements are good for core branches and for CSE it's quite average
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are quite decent. There are about 12 hostels, 7 for boys and 5 for girls and mess food is decent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of VSSUT is good. Nearly about 500 acres area is covered by the campus and many buildings are undergoing construction. As it is a old college, infrastructure is decent but college is trying its best to renovate with State Governments support. This university has been given nearly about Rs.2000 crore for university development and to maintain its legacy. College includes library, academic block, department building, workshop, canteen, auditorium, cafes, incubation building, and play grounds. It's surrounded by all facilities and VIMSAR also assists medical support to students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life in Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is quite good. Nearly about 5000 students study in VSSUT. Our university has many clubs like ‘Engima’ for coding, robotics, souls etc. All clubs hold their programs / activities to get students engagement and participation. Our university holds its sports fest i.e ‘Illumina’. Our university holds Techno Cultural Fest of the year i.e ‘Samavesh X Vassaunt’ every year. My experience is quite good about campus life at VSSUT.

The university is overall very good as it has a lot of clubs and activities to take part. The teachers are quite good in terms of teaching and support.     In terms of money it's awesome. Faculties are doing well. Campus life will be memorable. Many view points are also nearby. Mess food is better. You have to adjust yourself according to routine. In terms of placements, core branch have better opportunity than CSE. Many food stalls are also available along the college sides.
