Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is 2nd best institute of Gwalior which became a deemed university in 2024. If you are from Gwalior or nearby Gwalior, it's okay to take admission here. It is better than any other private institute. I am in 2nd year and I never saw ragging in this institute. Teachers are friendly and even food from canteen is also good.

The main motivation is my willingness for DSA. I was not willing to take mechanical and learn DSA, which could become headache for many. I got CSE in round 1 of counseling at 92.48 percentile in 2023. In 2024, it was around 91.7 percentile. Admission process is simple and no interview, test or any group discussion I faced during admission. There are 2 mid semester and end semester exam of a semester. Each semester also have proficiency and practical. You will learn new things, new technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Neural Network, about sensors and working models and many more which will help you further.

The fees at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science increases yearly for upcoming students as I have yearly fee of Rs. 1,07,700 and my juniors have fee of Rs.1,25,650 per year. Tuition fee is Rs. 65,000, registration fees are Rs. 1,500, development fees Rs. 20,000, exam fees Rs. 2,600, and the rest is divided between maintenance, laboratory, library & other fees. Scholarship is provided to SC and ST category. Also, I got scholarship from Yuva unstoppable by the help of my institute. This is for girls, whose family income is below 4 lakh.

Many faculties at Madhav Institute of Technology and Science have great knowledge and experience. Even many teachers are new and these joining are of experienced teachers of IIT Dhanbad. We can ask doubts any time and for one subject, we have many teachers. Few of them teach with PPTs, but most of them use board and writing method for teaching. They organize quiz for regular updates of students if they are understanding or having any problem with any topic. Teachers are friendly.

From semester 6, students become eligible for placements. Many companies take interview in our institute. The highest on campus placement was 25 LPA, as off campus was 1 crore+ in 2023. The average on-campus package is around 5 to 8 LPA which is not much good but not too bad. It will depend on your ability, not on institute.

Yes, there are hostel facilities in Madhav Institute of Technology and Science. The hostels and food provided in the mess is average.

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science have many labs with several devices with Wi-Fi in them. Classrooms are maintained and seminar halls contain AC for cooling regarding classes and events. Library is filled with books and on top of it, E-Library is there, in which we can use institute computers for learning, and for sitting. Canteen is good, even the medical facility and sports facilities are good here. We have cricket, 3 badminton, football, basketball and volleyball grounds in the campus.

I am having a peaceful life in Madhav Institute of Technology and Science. I used to be alone, that's why I like the gym and the backyard of AI building of my institute to hangout alone. Otherwise we have a stage ground for hanging out with friends, and even several seminar halls and even classrooms. There are 64 clubs from which more than half are active, and 12 are the top clubs, which include technology, art, dance, music and meditation. Several events take place in our institute, many times some event’s timing clashes. Institute opens from 9 AM onwards and closes at around 8 PM if nothing is taking place; otherwise some events took more than 9 PM due to preparation of event.
