Overall Rating
Overall experience in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is very impressive as the campus is very beautiful and the nearby places of the campus are very good to explore. One will not regret after coming to this institute. Every department is well organised and developed. Our institute has many clubs and societies to join with which a student can carry forward their extracurricular activities also. There is basketball court, tennis court, football and cricket ground.
 

Academics Rating
Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is academically very good as it is 2nd tier institute. The admission process of this institute is very simple as we have to go through the JOSAA counseling and get allotment of this institute and come to the institute for the physical verification. Frequency of exams is quite similar to every other institute as we get holidays also after the exams. We get many opportunities to participate in hackathons which makes us ready for the industry.
The Fees structure for my course is Rs. 63,000 per year with tuition fees. It is affordable.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of this institute is very well educated as most of the faculties are Ph.D. Holders. They hold very much knowledge in their respective fields. They support us academically. Most of the faculty members are friendly also and most of them have a line which should not be crossed, which is important also. So, the teacher-student ratio at the institute is good as every department has good number of teachers. There are well equipped labs.
 

Placement Rating
Highest package offered to the students at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology is 52 Lakh per annum, median package offered is 8.50 Lakh per annum and the average package offered is 10.24 Lakh per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
There are very good hostels in Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology. Institute provides flat for the M.Tech students who are married and want to stay with their family.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute is very well developed in terms of infrastructure. Roads are very good. Every department is very good and there are seminar hall in most of the departments. The labs are well equipped. There is a SBI branch in our institute which provides every banking facility. There is a medical dispensary in the institute which can be accessed at any time. There is a Super Store in the institute.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very impressive as no one will regret after coming to this institute. There are many clubs which one can join to take forward their extracurricular activities. Every year when freshers get admitted to our institute the students organize fresher’s party named Kashish and every year there is an annual fest held named Sparsh, and many more. So, the campus life of this institute is very good.

    SVNIT, Surat has a great respect in the market as it’s an NIT. Overall, this institute has all the facilities and pros that a JEE Aspirant dreams about in an NIT.     The institute is decent. You should consider it as one of the top choices for pursuing higher education. The infrastructural facilities and the faculties are decent and needs to be improved. Almost all the festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm here and many events are held across the year.     The Institute is first of all a NIT. Therefore, its respect in the market is good. Overall, this institute has a balanced Curriculum like it organises fests, Cricket Tournament, Technical Clubs, Welfare Clubs, and Studies Related Events Happening.     I completed my 1 year at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology. It is a beautiful lush green campus of 250 acres. My over all experience was decent.
