How is Life at and after LNMIIT

Overall Rating
I Joined LNMIIT after getting 98 percentile in JEE main with lots of expectations. It turned out to be a good choice. It is a good college for students seeking a balance between academics, placement and personal growth in a substantial and serene environment. It stands out for its focus on innovation, substantial practices and a strong placement records. You will experience lot of things here and will get lot of opportunities to sharpen your skills. You will also get opportunities to participate and enjoy in various clubs, academic activities and fests.
 

Academics Rating
You need to qualify JEE main after that you can participate in online counseling process. Academic here is on difficult side with strict attendance policy which will allow you to sit in exams only if you have attendance more than 75 percent in class. Grading system is relative if class scores good marks otherwise instructor will choose absolute grading system. Lots of students get F grade in each subject. Academic is modified according to latest UGC rules to make it relevant with current trends in industry.
Fee is on higher side which in addition to this increases by 10 percent every year. Currently it is Rs. 2,95,000 for tuition fee plus hostel. In addition to this you need to pay Rs. 3,000 for enrollment and Rs. 10,000 as security. This is as per semester fees and above on is for first semester 2024 batch. You can add additional 10 percent for yourself.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members at LNMIIT are experienced academicians and professional, offering a mix of deep theoretical knowledge and practical insight. Most of them hold degree in Ph.D. This is scenario during my time. But during past year they have hired a lot of young professor who lack experience. They are well trained in their respective fields. LNMIIT frequently invites industry experts, guest lecturers and professor from top Institutions. This bridges the gap between industry and academics.
 

Placement Rating
LNMIIT has a very good placement record for CSE students. But it is experiencing decline in no. of companies visiting campus from last two years.
 

Hostel Rating
College offers hostel and mess facility to each student. Double seater room for 3 years and single seater in final year. It fee is already taken with tuition fees. Mess quality is mediocre but not tasty. Girls and boys hostels are separate but mess is common.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is lush green. There are proper academic blocks and no. of LT's for classes. It has every type of labs for all types of branches. Labs are well equipped. We have a central library for all students with all types of books needed for B.Tech students and a peaceful environment. Auditorium is missing. We have a proper canteen too. Every sports facility except for swimming pool, medical facility is provided. Our college is located in outskirt of city so they also provide bus facility.
 

Campus Rating
I enjoyed my campus life with difficulties in academic life because it is very strict. College is well balanced in terms of no. of people. Everyone works hard for their future which creates a healthy competition. We have multiple clubs of every type. Anyone can join them based on their choice or hobby. We have three major fest for cultural Vivacity. You will have a good life here if you are hard working.

    I had many doubts while choosing this college in the year 2023, however upon consulting many seniors I finally decided to go with it. 1 year later, I can confidently say that I don't regret my decision even a bit. Overall the college has a mixed variety of students and professors. Some are very studious and go to the library daily, others focus more on non-academic areas.     Reputable for its good placements and merit-based admissions, LNMIIT is a semi-government institute located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. I like its competitive crowd, lack of reservations and focused environment.
