My Freshmen Year in JSS Academy of Technical Education

Overall Rating
I am a first year student. In my opinion, JSS Academy of Technical Education, is good. It has beautiful campus and faculties are well behaved. We have to maintain attendance because faculties are strict in this matter. After coming here, you will get good friends and you will get to know you have lot of things to learn. Overall, we can say it is a decent college.
 

Academics Rating
I am in AI-ML branch. For BE, You can get admission through KCET or COMEDK ranks or through management quota. I got admission through KCET. during admission the team will ask for some original documents like SSLC and PUC marksheet, TC, passport size photo, Aadhaar card (Xerox), KCET application form (Xerox), Bank passbook, front page (Xerox), original 1st 10+2 marksheet, and Study certificates. To get admission here through KCET, you need around 22k to 25k KCET rank for CSE branches.
The yearly fee will be around 1.2 LPA. Yeah, you will get discounts or scholarship if you are eligible.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good. If we talk about method of teaching, every faculty uses PPT to teach. They are very few who uses blackboard. There is problem solving ability is good. Teacher student ratio is also good. Faculties are friendly with us.
 

Placement Rating
I am in first year so I do not have much idea about placements. As far as I know from my seniors placements at our college are going good. It trains for placements from 5th semester onwards.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, girl’s and boy’s hostels are separate in JSS Academy of Technical Education,. Girl’s PG is in the college campus and boy’s hostel is outside the campus. As I know, girl's hostel is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are total 3 academic blocks in our campus. Classrooms are good and each classroom has 1 projector with sufficient desks. College has 1 library, good lab facility and 2 seminar halls. Our classes are taken in A block, B block is for Civil & Mechanical, and C block is for EC. All the three blocks are little bit far from each other. In campus, you will find lot of greenery.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. You will find crowd during fests. Yeah, you can join various clubs. Every year, it conducts the biggest fest of our college named ‘Verve’. My experience about the campus: well I got some good. You will not find any difficulties here.

    We have a 21-acre lush green campus with grounds and courts to play many sports. In addition, there many benches around campus to sit, eat and chill. All students are lively. It has been almost 2 months in this college and I am enjoying it. Main highlight JSSATEB is environment and campus. There was also fresher’s day, which was awesome.... Read Full Review

    JSS Academy of Technical Education is a really good college which has a very huge campus (full of greenery). It has little pond which makes the college view more beautiful.     JSS Academy of Technical Education campus has 3 grounds, a Lake called Idly Lake, and other eye-catching areas. The campus is beautiful overall. It is a very calming experience to look at. It has a lot of greenery and is a soothing place to look at. The infrastructure is good, but if we talk about the campus life at the college, it is not that great. They usually have poor timing in conducting events and although they are the once that are responsible for organizing exams and all, I do not know ... Read Full Review

    My first year in JSS Academy of Technical Education was almost fine. For most of the people that are there in the southern regions and know kannada, have better opportunities in the college. Since, many people in the college speak only in kannada which is justified as it’s the state language, but some don't want to translate the language for the others to understand and for all the northies and the southies who don't know kannada, it is very difficult for them and they are forced to learn it. ...
