Pursue Technical Education at PESU EC Bangalore

Overall Rating
Overall, the university is very nice. The education system is wonderful. The exam pattern level and difficulty is very good. this is an autonomous university. fests are decent. faculties are good. Labs and library are accessible to everyone. Classrooms are very good for digital learning. You get very good opportunities for internship.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. This branch is very good. I got admission through KCET, which is Karnataka Common Entrance Test. You can join this university through JEE Main, PESSAT, and management quota. I got admission to this university at a rank of 11k in KCET. every 1.5 months, you will be having internals. after second internal, you will be having final end semester exam. there will not be much gap between 2nd internal and final exam. the academics prepare us very well for our real life challenges.
For KCET students, it is Rs. 1,07,000 and external Rs. 13,000. You have to pay this after 1 month of joining. For PESSAT, fee is around 4 LPA. If you are through management, it is around 12 LPA.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are really very good here. They are very well knowledge people. They do clear all your doubts. All faculties are PhD or top qualified professors. They teach us through PPTs which are of PESU EC Bangalore’s PPTs. Problem solving ability is also good. There are around 50 teachers in tech block.
 

Placement Rating
About placements, there are many good opportunities. When you are in 5th sem, you can get best internships with good packages. The campus placements are very good here. Well known companies come to this university to recruit students. You need to have minimum 8.5 CGPA. If you do many projects, you can add them in your resume. Highest package is 60 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
For first year students, the hostel is bit far from the university. From second year, boy’s hostel is in the campus itself. The mess food is best, it is better than any hostel. You will be satisfied with it. Hostel gate’s last closing times are 7 PM. I am very much satisfied with the hostel. Hostel fee is Rs. 1,54,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure can improve too much extent. It is located opposite to Electronic City Metro Station. Classrooms are very good and well furnished. Each classroom has three green boards and 1 50-inch TV where slides will be displayed. Library is very good support with all the books. canteen is very nice.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is going very good. Crowd is decent. Yes, there are several clubs. You can join any club of your interest. I am part of a photography club called Pixelloid. There will be some good extracurricular activities. There will be a fest in November.

    I am currently a 2nd year CSE-AIML student at PES University. It has been a great experience so far. The lecturers teach well and clarify doubts as well. The sports and extracurricular activities must be improved but the fests are amazing. There are regular events on campus including fun quizzes and open Mics very often.     Pes University Electronic City is one of the top 5 universities in Bangalore. It has the same placements and syllabus as the PES University RR campus. I personally chose this college as it was in Bangalore and had one of the best placements and has a brand name itself. Its syllabus is always updated and it’s up to date and always in with the latest advancements in the field. They provide opportunities within college placements and internships.     My experience in this college so far has been pretty amazing. From the basic education to advanced lectures it's been easy to grasp and the teachers have been helpful.   • Never join PESIT South Campus if you want a job

    PESIT South Campus is a good college but placement wise a little off. The reason being the management biased towards the other campus, i.e. Banashankari Campus. The college though has flourished ever since it has become a deemed university. Previously the college was affiliated to VTU. I enjoyed the atmosphere but college still lacked few basic things.
