My Opinion on Career Point University, Hamirpur

Overall Rating
I must say, Career Point University is descent. When I went to university first day, I was very scared about my faculty and fellow students. After first day, I realized that they are very nice to me. The teachers are very friendly and educated enough to teach. I can share my problems to them and they guide me. I chose this university because it is near my locality and in locality, it is the best and I do not want to go too far from my home.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing BCA from Career Point University and I have joined this because I am a medical student and could not enroll in BCA in any other university or college. There are two types of exams held in university, first is minor examination in mid sem, which is of 20 marks. Each subject and end sem major examination, which is of 60, marks each subject. Academics prepare us about 30% for industry level and rest is upto our own learned skills.
Fee for every semester is Rs. 25,300 in which tuition fee is Rs. 50,600 for one year, admission, or registration fee is Rs. 2,500, and security fee is Rs. 5,000. If you have scored 90% or above in 12th standard, you get 15% off in total fee. If you have scored 85 to 89.99% you get 10 % off and if 75 to 84.99 % marks, then 5% off and that is it.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very respectful in Career Point University. There nature is very good. They are educated enough for this course. Teachers solve every problem of the students. They teach with any method available and conduct group discussions. the teacher student ratio is 1:9. My bond with maximum teachers is like friends in class.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell needs to works harder to ensure that students get jobs or placements and internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are separate hostel for boys and girls inside and outside the campus. I am not a hostler, so I cannot tell much about the hostels. Mess food is hygienic and students are given three meals a day. My hostel friends told me this. The annual fee of hostel is around Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 5,000 is refundable as it is security fee. The hostel rules are strict. I only know this information.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are two blocks: A and B. The B block is especially for medical students. The campus is very big and it is near the jungle. There are whiteboards in some classrooms, blackboard in some classrooms, projectors in some classrooms. Classrooms have sitting capacity of about 60 to 70 students. Library, labs, seminar hall, and auditorium, all are present in campus. There are 4 canteens with different menu. Badminton, cricket, basketball, etc. sports are available. For transport, buses are available. Security guards are strict for their works. Nobody can go outside the campus before 12:35 PM. favorite place is café.
 

Campus Rating
I like my experience in the university. There are around 3000 students in the university. The students are very friendly. There is no ragging culture. The senior are just like our friends. There are many clubs in university like music, dance, drama, book, literary, etc. Diwali, fests, music, and dance competitions are organized every year in university. Hackathons and international conferences are also organized every year.
