Kamala Nehru College Delhi: Fee Structure and Scholarships

My overall experience at KNC is kind of good. It’s a very good and underrated college of DU. The campus, the competitions, and the societies are good in their own way, when I got admission in this college I thought that it’ll be difficult for me to adjust in girl’s college but it made me fall in love with it.

I’ve chosen B.Com (Hons.) with interest in Finance. There are no eligibility criteria except having 50% or more marks in 12th and a good CUET score of around 730-740. The admission process is through official site of DU only. The exams occur 2 times in 1 year. The academics prepare me to tackle real life challenges through the practical world included in this. It’s a good college.

The fee of each year is Rs. 16,230 for my course. This is the only amount we have to pay. No special discounts are provided to any specific category students. Scholarship naming Blaise Goswami award that is of 1 Lakh is provided to students as a financial aid on the basis of CGPA.

The faculty is quite good and experienced at teaching. All the faculty members in my department are very understanding and well educated. The background of faculty members is nice. The method of teaching includes PPTs, group discussion, notes making, and teaching on blackboard. The problem solving ability is quite impressive and the ratio goes from 7:67. Talking about the bonding, they are very approachable.

Campus is not so big but pretty cool. The size is medium and it’s located in South Delhi. You can travel by metro and Green Park is the nearest metro station. Academic facilities like library are large. There are 3 computer labs, a seminar hall, a big auditorium and 2 conference halls. My favorite thing is to sit in chaupal area, eating Nescafe’s tastiest maggi watching birds and feeling the peace there. It features computer labs, projectors, smart classes, etc.

My overall campus life is quite experiencing and thrilling. The crowd that comes to college is both impressive and average. Yes, there are so many clubs or societies in the college. I’m a part of my department’s art & aesthetics team. The annual fest is celebrated between the month of February and March and its name is ‘Ullas’. Other particular events include society’s fest, Diwali mela, and winter carnival, etc. My experience at KNC is good and serene. I love each and every part of it and I’m grateful that I got this one.
