All About JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus

Overall Rating
I am a 2nd year B.Tech student in JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus, Greater Noida. It is overall a good institute with small but beautiful campus it has various facilities such as well maintained class room, computer labs for coding, and a clean and neat campus, highly qualified teacher with a good knowledge in their subjects. Apart from academic it has various societies like Hashtag (the coding society), Navras (the cultural society), and Sports Society. It also has a synthetic basketball court in the campus.
 

Academics Rating
It is an overall good institute with JEE rank as its admission criteria. B.Tech is good with real life application. You have to secure a decent rank to get admission here. Admission is taken on first come first serve basis. Exams are conducted twice during a semester as far for academic it follows GGSIPU, (Dwaraka) curriculum. It does not follow a hard pattern if you pay attention in class; it is very easy to pass the examination.
The per year fees is around Rs. 1,50,000. There is no registration fee. No discounts are provided. There is no scholarship or financial aid offered by the institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members and their knowledge in their subjects are excellent. They are very helpful and will make you understand the topic very well. They use ppt, group discussion and presentation as the part of the learning process. The problem solving ability of the teacher is very good and excellent. Faculty is good overall and is dedicated toward their work. I personally have a good bonding with my teachers. Also, they do not give marks on basis of bonding, which is a good thing.
 

Placement Rating
JIMS Engineering Management Technical Campus has decent placements but you have to work hard for it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus have 5 blocks and well maintained library for each department. The campus is spread in 5 acres located in greater Noida. Class room has a seating capacity of 60 students and is equipped with smart boards. There are 2 auditoriums and conference hall in the campus. It also has parking facility for students having two wheelers. It has a basketball court, a volleyball ground, cricket ground, high security and also has its own transport facility.
 

Campus Rating
It has overall good campus life. There are various clubs like Navras, Hashtag, Cyber Surge, Sports Society, and more. Institute canteen is also available but food is fine only. I am a part of the sports society and play various sports. Fest like Anugoonj is also organised here and JIMS Zest fest is also conducted once a year. Various competitions are also held here.

    I'm a 2nd year student of B.Tech department and my experience till now is quite good. The campus is well-equipped with latest infrastructure, including smart classroom, new computer labs in each floor, well-stacked library with the latest edition books and facilities for other extracurricular activities.     Overall, JIMS Engineering Management Technical campus offers good academic and extracurricular activities, mainly due to supportive faculties and placement opportunities but campus infrastructure can be improved as some classrooms do not have proper air conditioners and washrooms also need to be repaired.     My college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University which is a central state university. It will provide me government degree after my B.Tech. The environment around here is very appreciative like seniors are very supportive and helpful.     I chose this college for B.Tech in computer science as first of all; it is affiliated with GGSIPU and provides a government certificate once you have graduated. It is considered as good when it comes to B.Tech course and also, it is famous for BBA LLB.   • JIMS Engineering has the best infra in neighbourhood

    I was a former B.Tech Civil student at JIMS. This wasn’t the career path but a sort of compromise as I failed to get admission where I wanted. Civil was again not my preferred branch but thanks to JIMS as the civil branch didn’t had the required number of students and they allowed me or rather many more like me to join their civil batch so that their quota of seats are full.
