The Reality of the Institute

Overall Rating
The Institute is good as per placements. B if we talk about enjoyment that it somewhere lacks in this factor. I chose this Institute for its good placement record. It has only 4 fests that are organized annually. The Institute is under VTU, but it is an autonomous Institute. The Institute infrastructure is too good as compared to other Institutes. There is pink flower growing trees in the Institute which attracts most of us to the Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose computer science and engineering by my choice. I entered this Institute by KCET. The required rank should be less than 15,000. Anyone can enter the Institute through KCET, COMEDK, JEE Mains, or by the means of management. It is very good to prepare us for real life challenges. 85% attendance is compulsory in this Institute.
I came to this Institute through KCET, so my fee was Rs. 62,000. There is a discount for the SC and ST category students in fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are too good. They are very interactive with students. The faculty members are well educated and well verified by the Institution. Their method of teaching is through black boards, PPT’s, and by the means of group discussions. As they are well educated so they have good problem solving abilities. The civil lecturers are rude but others are too cool and interactive with all the students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the Institute. There are many companies coming for placement of the students to their companies like Google, TCS, Capgemini, etc. The average package is around 7 lakh.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute offers residential facilities. The fee for the same starts from Rs. 80,000 to around Rs. 1,25,000 as per the students requirements. The mess food is good. The hostel fee is paid annually. The gate closes at 10.30pm in boys hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is no separate block for different department. The classrooms have seating capacity for around 60 students. There is projector in every class for the study purpose. There is a canteen too which is not so big but it served tasty food. The canteen is small than other canteens. There is a sport ground in the Institute.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is too good as the campus is too big to explore. The Institute is in the crowded place in the Nagarabavi. There are many clubs for us to participate in and there are extracurricular activities. There are only 4 fests in the Institute for enjoyment. The campus life is good as compared to other Institutes.

    Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good. The faculties are very helpful in our studies. They support us for our academics and extracurricular activities.     This institute has a very reputable position when looked towards universities and colleges. This institute has its very own ground where students can play cricket, football, volleyball, etc. In the institute, the institute faculties are very supportive and helping when asked for help.     Like any other Engineering aspirant, I was also preparing for JEE Main but couldn't score according to what was required. Then I took another drop year for 2nd attempt and since I was sure that I have to enroll in college this year anyhow, I applied for other entrance exams including COMEDK which allowed admission in this institute....
