Excellent ROI by MMMUT Gorakhpur

Overall Rating
MMMUT Gorakhpur is better in many aspects. But some things need to be modified and updated. It provides good opportunities to every students. The first advantage, which I preferred when I was choosing the university, was that it is a government institution and provides good return of investment. This means that its fee is lower than other universities, which belong to the same level, but it gives more opportunities.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Electronics & Communication Engineering branch, which was my third priority after CS and IT. I was interested in coding related field but due to my rank, I did not get those branches. Since, ECE provide opportunities in government as well as private sector, I have chosen this branch. The admission criterion is that you need to have good score in JEE Main and appear in university’s counseling process. After every 2 or 2.5 month, there will be an exam (2 minors and 1 major).
There is a different fee for B.Tech, BBA, MBA, PhD, and other fields. All the branches of B.Tech have to pay around Rs. 5,60,000 in 4 years including mess and hostel charges. After every year, you have to pay for 2 semesters. Scholarship is only for UP students.
 

Faculty Rating
All the facility members of all branches are well educated. They have enough knowledge to teach us. They are very helpful, and every teacher has his/here own methods to teach. Some teachers teach on smart board while some teach on blackboard. Teacher to student ratio is around 1:40. I have good bonding with some guest faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
Training and placement cell has top faces of our university. All the big and mass recruiters come in MMMUT Gorakhpur like Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package, which off campus is 52 LPA and average package, is around 6 to 7 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 12 hostels in our university, separate for boys and girls. For both genders, there are different hostels for each year student. All girls’ hostels are in good condition but few boy’s hostels are in good condition. Others need some maintenance work. Restriction is only for girls and 1st year students. You can walk at mid night in university but not out of the university after 10 PM. Hostel fee is Rs. 24,000 per year. Mess fee are Rs. 36,000 per year. The food is not up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic block is very good. Campus size is 354 acres and only 50-60 acre is in use. Library has enough space and there are two libraries. First, one is digital library and the other one is normal Library. All the labs are present with required equipment. There are separate seminar hall for each branch and has two auditorium. All other facilities are also available.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience is good. Every year, around 1000 to 1200 students join the university. There are many clubs in MMMUT Gorakhpur that are run by students with the help of faculty advisors. I am a part of Electronics & Communication Engineering Society that ECES. All the clubs and society conduct their own events. There are 3 major fests every year in our university that are ‘Abhudaya’ that is conducted by cultural clubs and ‘Ayes’ that is conducted by sports sub council and ‘Techsrijan’ that is conducted by IEEE and SAE clubs. These are cultural, sports and tech fest of our university.

    I could not perform so well in JEE. Though, I had decent rank so I got admission in MMMUT. As my father is a civil engineer so I chose same to pursue. I was obviously disappointed with my JEE performance but I was surprised with the teachings of professional there. Though in first year, most of the teachers are guest faculty but from second year, you will be only taught by professors and I guarantee you they are best.     Facilities and infrastructure are good at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and the seminar rooms of our department are also in pretty good condition.   • Getting into CSE at MMMUT Gorakhpur Through JEE Main

    It is a state government Technical University that comes under UP govt. It is off course a wonderful college which has NIRF ranking of 84 in engineering category. My overall experience is good. I chose this college because of its placement. In the previous year one of my senior got placed in Google for 52 LPA.     The institute is among top 3 government colleges of Uttar Pradesh. I took admission in the year 2020. Alumni base is very strong. Every year we find seniors securing under top 100 in GATE.
