Preview of My College Life at MSU Vadodara

Overall Rating
Overall experience in MSU Vadodara was quiet good, though we had online classes for 2 years due to Covid. I chose this university mainly because of its reputation and it’s located in my hometown. The fee structure is very affordable so you do not need any scholarship over here. The campus is very big and the infrastructure was very good. There is a huge cafeteria for all the students in the campus, which is quiet awesome.
 

Academics Rating
As I was having a keen interest in Accounting, I chose this course. We will study a blend of practical and theoretical knowledge over here. To enroll in this university, you should have a minimum 45% in 12th in any field. There is no group discussion and personal interview over here. This means it takes direct admission so it is quite good. After my graduation, I am pursuing for MBA from a prestigious university, as I want to embark my career in banking sector.
The fees structure is quite low. In first year, we have to pay Rs. 6,500 in total. Every year, it was increasing by Rs. 500.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty was supportive and friendly. They helped every student for queries. The faculties were having a qualification of PhD with some was having a Master’s degree. As there is no smart boards, the faculties were teaching us with white board. They will provide you with the best knowledge about the field, which is quiet helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, MSU Vadodara has a placement cell. However, the placements are average. The rate is 50% and highest placement is 4 LPA and lowest is 1 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of MSU Vadodara was huge. In the campus itself, the Asia one of the largest library ‘SMT Hansa Mehta library’ is situated in this university. In campus, there are 2 grounds for football and cricket. My favorite place was cafeteria near cricket ground, which was quiet good. It provided good food and was famous for its cold coffee. The campus is very much nearer to the bus and railway station, so it was easy to travel.
 

Campus Rating
As I took admission during Covid, I did not enjoy so much of campus life. Due to its high student intake, the campus has a many diverse students. It would be better, if it makes some of the clubs so that students can pursue their hobbies also. There are fests in December and February but due to huge crowd, they seemed little disorganized. My experience over here was normal.

    The Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda is already an esteemed University and I chose to study here because of its name and values. The admission process is simple so there is no hustle regarding that. The office staff here is also hardworking and cooperative.     I have more interest in doing government job in the technical domain so I choose the civil engineering and decided to pursue it from the faculty of technology and engineering Maharaja Sayajiro University of Baroda because it is top government college in Gujarat.
