Best university to study B.Tech in Shikohabad

Overall Rating
Overall, it is a very good educational institution in Uttar Pradesh. My experience in this university has been quite good. It is a reputed university in the state. The academics and social life here are top-notch. My course was B.Tech. (Mechanical). I chose this university as well as this branch because of few reasons; firstly, the placements for B.Tech. (Mechanical) were quite good in past years and the fees of the university is very affordable.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria for taking admission in the JS University is as follows: One must have completed 10+2 with aggregate 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics if they want to take direct admission. If someone has given JEE Mains, he / she is also eligible to take admission. Each branch has a capacity of 400 students in JSU. It is a four-year degree that is further divided into 8 semesters, and each semester ends in 6 months.
The fee structure for B.Tech (Mechanical) in JS University is Rs. 50,000/- rupees per year including hostel fees. Student can also apply for various scholarships based on their academic performance.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very supportive to students, my experience with all the teachers were really productive & helpful these in four years. Their teaching method is very unique. The main focus of the faculty is on providing practical learning experience to the students which prepares us well in advance for the industry. The teacher-student ratio at the university is 40:1 that is usually considered good in most of the universities. All the teachers are highly qualified in their respective streams.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are quite fair, because in the past few years the placements rate has dropped a bit. In my batch 40% students got jobs based on campus placements. Placement Cell is not present in our university.
 

Hostel Rating
University provides hostel facility to the students who are living away from their hometown. The fee of the hostel ranges between 2 to 3 lakh for four years. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Quality of the mess food is quite average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of JS University has requisite facilities. Each department has a separate building; an administration building is separated from the academic one. Size of the classrooms is good enough to accommodate 100 students in each classroom. Internet connectivity like WiFi is made available for all the students. A well-stocked library is present with no extra fees. Essential facilities like medical, transportation, security, and canteen are also there. Mess service is also made available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was very good, and crowd of the university is friendly. Those four years in the campus were the best 4 years of my student life. I will recommend to all the 12th passed students to take admission in this university. Extracurricular activities like Sports competition are held from time to time. Fest is also organized by the university every year. We celebrate all the festivals together with great enthusiasm.
