Pursuing B.Tech at VSSUT Burla

Overall Rating
VSSUT Burla has a very good infrastructure and faculty is very good. I am choosing this college because of its ranking and reputation. Activities like sports fest and branch fest are very good. The campus placement is also good. The academic achievement of the college is also good. The building and instruments of the college are best. The research field is also not that bad. That’s why I chose the college.
 

Academics Rating
Academic achievement of this university is fantastic as it is the oldest engineering college of Odisha. The eligibility criterion includes JEE Main or OJEE scorecard and also score card. There are so many branches like CSE, EEE, EE, ME, Civil, Chemical, and Production Engineering. I chose EEE because I like this branch the most. The academics prepare a student for life. College has a very good sports facility.
The regular course has Rs. 41,000 tuition fee and self-sustaining course has Rs. 85,000 tuition fee per year.
 

Faculty Rating
There are so many teachers from IITs, NITs, and other respected Institutes. Their method of teaching is through smart board, group discussion, and black board. The teacher to student ratio is 1:15. Maximum teachers are professor as they did their PhD. Their problem solving abilities are very good. They are very supportive, and very kind in nature. They are also involved in the research work.
 

Placement Rating
Placement of VSSUT Burla is average. The average package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the highest package is 48 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel building and food is also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of VSSUT Burla is good but some building is very old as it is the oldest college of Odisha. The lab facility is also there. Library is also there and it is good as there are so many books are in it. Swimming pool, indoor game facility, and outdoor facility is very good. Seminar hall is very big. Transport and security system is good. Auditorium and canteen is also there.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. The college crowd is very huge. There are many cultural clubs. There is a vast sports society. The fest is good. Branch fest and annual sports are best. Teachers are very supportive in this field.

    This institute has everything that you need. Best campus, best faculties, best clubs, and best infrastructure. The clubs are vibrant and awesome. I got a decent percentile in JEE mains exam which is basically an engineering entrance exam. So I decided to get into this college because it was near to my house.
