Best Academics at IIT Delhi

Overall Rating
Overall, the institute is pretty worth it. The timetable of every student can be very busy but the time invested goes into various activities, results in the holistic development of the student. I chose this institution because of its good network as it is easier to connect to professionals in the field. This allows student to get to know about field experience and better prepares them for their fields. It is also good for people who have not made solid decisions and are looking to find their field of interest.
 

Academics Rating
I am a part of Physics department, as I am a Physics enthusiast and would like to research further in this field in the future. The academics here can be overwhelming at times but they are not impossible and they teach you well about various aspects of the subject. It can be fast at times but this is compensated by the professors who have immense knowledge of their fields and can really teach you the depths of any topic you are interested in.
The fee structure is flexible, so students from lower economic classes can also study here without a problem.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is very good. It is full of professionals who are Master in their field. lot of them are currently researching in their fields, which is good as it ensures that people who are out of touch with their field are not teaching us. The professors actively take up doubts without any problems and it is quite easy to get your doubts cleared if you approach them.
 

Placement Rating
Not much needs to be said about the placements, as it is ‘IIT’. The placements here are very good. Big firms of all the fields come here during the placement rounds.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are very nice in IIT Delhi. They are well built and some of them are quite beautiful even. The hostel rules are quite lenient. The food quality is very good and you get very nice meals every day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very well developed. The library has books for all the topics that you might want to learn about throughout your time of your journey. The classrooms are huge and the lecture hall is very well built. The sports facilities over here are also very good, we have big grounds, and professionals come to teach the students whatever sport they are interested in. There are also facilities available for cultural activities like music, dance and so much more.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very nice. There are plenty of cultural events. ‘Rendezvous’, which is one of the biggest cultural events in Asia, is prime event of IIT Delhi. It happens every year. The institute is also full of club activities and there are plenty of things you can do to have fun here and blow of some steam. Honestly, being here and spending time with your friends is a very nice experience.

    It is an amazing place to spend the best time of your life, while studying. You will have best brains around you. Hence, you can have excellent peer group. There is a best faculty and system not just for academics but also for sports. It has well-maintained grounds and courts for various sports, and swimming pool.     I have completed one semester as an Undergraduate at IIT Delhi. It's been a wonderful 1st semester. Some of the factors that made me choose this institute can be its start-up culture, Healthy Competition, and being in the capital of India. It provides great support to the students with startup ideas. There is a separate committee for it, which can provide financial and administrative support to innovative ideas.     It’s been 6 months and till now it has been a great experience. It's totally different from JEE preparation. You get a lot of exposure which helps in your career growth. You also meet new people; some are good and there are possibilities that will make some really good friends.
