Exploring Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan

Overall Rating
So my over all experience of this institute is quite good, like academic wise, faculties and the overall environment, it is all pretty good. I choose Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan over others because I heard this institute has better academics and average placement than the rest comparatively which is true. Till now I found every faculty supportive and the course on point. The only reason people neglect this institute is due to less fests and parties but it has 2 major fests ICI and PRAVAH which goes for a week with night parties and DJ each year. So I think this institute is good.
 

Academics Rating
I opted B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, because of my interests in that field. Eligibility criteria for admissions is through REAP where JEE and Board percentile and percentage respectively are taken to give each one a rank through which different institutes like SKIT take admissions. There are 2 mid terms each with theory and practical papers (also 1 unit test each) and 1 end term with theory and practical paper which prepares us in making our brain sharp and make us consistent.
The overall fee of my course (B.Tech in CSE) is about Rs. 1,20,000. They also provide scholarship opportunities with different schemes especially to girl candidates.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties at Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan are really nice and supportive. They teach us through whiteboards and there are tutorial classes for each subject. The professors are really intelligent and have a lot of knowledge. My bonding with my faculties is good. They help and support the students whenever they need. They share every possible knowledge they can and connect it with real life examples. So my overall experience with the faculties is nice.
 

Placement Rating
Since I'm in first year I only know about it from seniors, who told me that many companies do visit and take interviews and even the institute conducts internship programs in break each year and supports you if you really want to get a good career.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan has residential facilities and there are separate hostels of boys and girls with gym facilities. I am a day scholar but I have tried their mess food and believe me it's nice.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus size is not big but okay you all can move around. There is greenery, garden area, canteen area, football and other sport grounds. The Classrooms size and seating capacity is enough, you'll find many empty seats in each class. Library of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management and Gramothan is amazing. It’s so good with computers provided, personal laptop area, and silent reading area with novels. They have 1 auditorium which is quite large and 1 seminar hall as well. The sports, canteen and transport facilities are also good.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is also pretty good here with many facilities available inside the campus like canteen, cafe, sports, and gym for hostellers. The crowd is average but you all will find the best ones here. In fact, there are many clubs here, you should definitely participate in one or 2 of your interests and on each Wednesday there are events, workshops or competition of different clubs and you can participate in any of it. And the main events ICI, Pravah are so much fun. This year they even conducted fresher’s party which is a good initiative.

    SKIT College, Jaipur is overall a great college. Academically, it is great. The faculties are experienced and cover the syllabus nicely. Since the institute is now autonomous, some additional courses have been added which are great for extra learning on topics of general knowledge.     The experience of Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology is quite good because there is an activity day in a week to refresh the minds of all. The seniors are very friendly and helpful.
