Student’s Life at JECRC University

Overall Rating
Being an alumni of JECRC University, my time here went very well. Surrounded by lush green trees and an extensive infrastructure, the university offers everything under one roof. I decided to opt for this University due to its placement statistics, infrastructure, overall personality development, outdoor sports, and knowledgeable faculty. Other factors that led me to choose this institute are its hostel life, food quality, and focus on advanced technology. The environment is friendly and one can easily adjust to this university without feeling left alone.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Computer Science course due to my passion for writing codes and technology. The minimum eligibility criteria for taking admission in the college is 55% in 12th standard. The admission process is smooth, counsellors guide you well in the admission process. There was no written exam to take admission to this university. Post the chosen course, the exams are divided into mid-terms and final terms where mid-terms happen every 3 months and final terms at the year's end.
The fee was paid in two instalments every year. I have paid around 3 Lakh every year including the tuition, admission, and hostel fees. Eligible students are offered scholarships according to their academic background.
 

Faculty Rating
I had a great experience with the faculty members in Computer Science Engineering. Their method of teaching not only focused on a theoretical approach but also emphasized on practical knowledge. The method of study included blackboards, projectors, group discussions, etc. Faculty was quite friendly, one can easily solve their doubt by reaching out to them. They were friendly to students and offered good mentorship to everyone. Additional faculties are also there to teach foreign languages.
 

Placement Rating
The university has quite good placement cell. Each group of students get trained by renowned faculties before starting their placement journey. They also hold classes for aptitude round and group discussions, led by expert members. Students face the environment of placement process in this university before facing the actual interview. JECRC University has witnessed many well-known companies including Accenture, IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, etc. coming in for campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
The University offers 'home away from home environment'. There are spacious and separate hostels for girls and boys both. Hostels have facilities of single rooms, good quality furniture, ACs, TV, etc. Timely cleaning is done by staff members. Food quality is hygienic and delivers good taste. One is offered breakfast, lunch, evening snack, and dinner in a day. Overall, I had memorable experience in the hostel and had good hostel life in 4 years of journey.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus offers lucrative infrastructure. The classrooms hold good seating facility for all students with proper ventilation facilities. It includes all facilities like library, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, conference hall, etc. University also offers other facilities including canteen, sports, medical, security, and transport. My favourite part of campus was library. Apart from this, I was also fascinated by the sports ground and gardens there. The night view at campus is amazing.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, I had a great experience there. There are many clubs to join according to one's interest such as Robotics, Aviation, Dance Club, etc. Every year, the university organized yearly fest on a large scale, where students from all over India participated. The entry fee at fest was free but for participating in the events, you have to pay a particular amount. I have learned a lot in this journey.

    JECRC University has been a very good companion for me till now. I didn’t clear JEE so I had to choose a private college. Then a search for good college started and then I found JECRC, which had decent placement, good infrastructure and good academics.     The Institute is in my home state. My senior has recommended this university to me. It has great coding culture and great environment. There is no ragging in the campus.     I already talked to some students who were already studying in JECRC University before I took admissions. I got to know that there are many activities in this university and like to participate in activities meet new people. It was a great experience as I build connections with people and got to learn many things from our seniors. The students are also good, some are bad, but we should ignore them.     Overall I will rate my university 4 out of 5. As the campus life here is good as compared to other universities in Jaipur. The infrastructure here is being developed at a good pace and the faculty here is very supportive.
