Overall Rating
This is above average institute. Personally I like it very much. It has a good reputation with above average placement record so I chose to take admission in this institute. Even so, having 75% attendance per subject is essential. The institute offers a strong academic foundation and the infrastructure is well equipped and there are ample opportunities for extra-curricular activities. The college’s emphasis is on innovation, practical knowledge, and overall personality development.
 

Academics Rating
In first year all branch students like CSE, CSE-AIML, CSE-DS, ECE, ME, EEE have same syllabus with subjects Engineering Maths, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, PPS, Mechanics etc. There are two way to take admission in my college first is direct admission also known as management quota in which 15% seat is filled on the basis of class 10th and 12th performance and second method is through counselling wherein the counselling organising agency is UPTAC in which rest of the 85% seats are filled.
The Fee at RKGIT is reasonable and competitive, considering the facilities and quality of education provided. For first year fee is Rs.1,35,000/- in which Rs.5,000/- is refundable after 4 Year of Graduation and for subsequent years, the fee is Rs.1,20,000/- per year and hostel fee is Rs.87,000/- to Rs.1,04,000/- depending on you what type of room you are selecting.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very qualified and most of the faculties are Ph.D holders and they have done their M.Tech and PH.D with reputed colleges. They have good teaching skills and teachers are friendly in nature and very helpful to students. All the classrooms have smart board teachers and student ratio is 1:60. Teachers are very approachable with good problem solving abilities.
 

Placement Rating
In my course 70% students are placed in good companies with a decent package in 2024, the highest package is Rs.34.00 LPA which was given by Commvault on campus. Lowest is Rs.3.00 LPA and average is Rs.5.00 – 6.00 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Commvault, Josh Technology and many more
 

Hostel Rating
Sorry, I did not take hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The facilities and infrastructure is above average. RKGIT campus is spread over 27 acre with lush green campus, computer labs are very well maintained having more than 10 computers. There is Wi-Fi in all the blocks. In my college each block has one seminar hall and the seating capacity is 60 to 75 students in each class. There is a central library in our college and sport facility is decent.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of RKGIT is very good. I enjoyed very much in winter as all the day scholars go to the ground and relax after the lectures. Students are also motivated to take part in cultural events and competitions which help to increase student's logical thinking, creativity and technical analysis which are quite useful at the time of placement and further in RKGIT, 3-5 events are held per week.

    My overall review of the campus is not very good. I want to go to institutes like 'AKG' and 'JAYPEE', but my 12th PCM percentage was less and I could not pass the college criteria. I visited many colleges but could not find anything. My counselling percentile was also low which is why I could not get CSE in other colleges.     It’s an average college of NCR region. Good for Computer Science and Engineering Students. College has all the basic facilities and good infrastructure.
