Outstanding Academics at National Institute of Technology, Rourkela

Overall Rating
NIT Rourkela is among the top institute of India which provide many facilities to the students and enhance them with their skills and knowledge. When I was first come in NIT Rourkela I was quite nervous but after some days I really feel good and love NIT Rourkela so much now. It has good placement records that are a good point for which many students take admission in NIT Rourkela. I really love the lush green campus of the institute.
 

Academics Rating
Faculties of NIT Rourkela are very helpful. they are always ready to help students and resolve their queries and doubts. Academics are very easy with the help of such great teachers. Recently I completed my first semester and I scored 8.26 CGPA with the help of such teachers. Secondly if I am talking about classrooms and all, then they are also very good like they are neat and clean, well maintained, etc.
The fee of NIT Rourkela is quite high but if you are talented then they provide you scholarship according to your results and scholarship will also be provided on the basis of family income.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very supportive and helpful in nature. All the professors are passed out from IIT and NIT so they are well knowledgeable and intelligent. They are always ready to solve your doubts and queries regarding to exams, academics, placements, etc. Faculties are very friendly in nature. I really appreciate the efforts of our mechanics professor he really work hard so that students easily understood the subject because as we already know mechanics is quite tough.
 

Placement Rating
NIT Rourkela is known for its placement records. It has a placement record of 92% and 100% in Mining Engineering.
 

Hostel Rating
Infrastructure of hostels is very good and well maintained but mess food is quite average. It is something average type.
 

Infrastructure Rating
NIT Rourkela has 1200 acres of lush green campus which enhances its beauty. Academic building is well maintained and each department has its own building so that students can take classes at their respective departments. It has 2 auditoriums which are very helpful in conducting any events and at the time of registration it is very helpful. NIT Rourkela has the main building on which NIT is written which is very attractive and it is very huge and beautiful.
 

Campus Rating
I love the campus life of NIT Rourkela it has lush green campus. I have many friends and they belong to different states which increase my knowledge and I am able to know the culture of different states of India and different countries other than India. Many fests are also organised by NIT Rourkela like Cosmo, Innovation, NITR Utsav, etc. many others are also there. I really love the campus life of NIT Rourkela.

    The experience was amazing here at campus. Various facilities are available at the campus like medical, ATM, grocery shops, etc. I particularly chose this Institute as all know it's a premier technology Institute in India. One should consider this college as an option as you got the exposure and are able to push your limits seeing others doing well in their field. Your whole day starts and ends in open environment with fresh air and green environment with two big ponds, covered by forests and mountain.
