Overall Rating
The VJTI is very prestigious Institute in Maharashtra which is known for its placements and Institute life. To get into this Institute you have to score a lot of percentile in MHT CET exam. I got 99.26 percentile So, I decided to go to top Institute of Maharashtra and it is located in Mumbai which is main city of our nation. There are lots of clubs in our Institute so you get a good exposure. And lastly the placements are extraordinary.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen A EXTC branch because it has scope in future and we can go to this sector as well core sector through this branch. To get to admission in this branch you have to get 99.25+ percentile in MHT-CET exam. Admission process is so easy. The selection is done on the basis of merit and all selection process is conducted by CET cell. We had 1 MST and 1 ESE in 1st semester as the time is less in 1st semester. The papers of VJTI are very tough which gives you challenges and you get used to getting hard challenges in life.
I had to pay Rs. 78,000 as Institute fees for 1 year. Rs. 15,000 is tuition fee and others are development fee, and other fees. Yes, the fee depends on the category of student. The categories like SC, ST, OBC get discount depending upon category. There are so many scholarships in Institute. The alumni association scholarship is very good in which Institute alumni helps needy students financially.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very good. Almost all are Ph.D teachers and some have experience of teaching in IIT and NIT. They also have done graduation from best Institutes of India. They teach all subjects practically. They use technology such as smart boards, etc. This creates interest in studies and makes study easy. They are very friendly with students. They talk to us and solve our doubts. They have in depth knowledge about their respective subject. Overall faculty is very experienced and knowledgeable.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of VJTI are excellent. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Dream 11, JP Morgan come to Institute to offer placement to the students. Average package of our Institute is 10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The residential facilities are available for students who are not local. Girls and boys hostel is separate. Mess food is very good. The hostel fees is Rs. 22,000 annually and mess fees is Rs. 44,000 annually. Hostel rules are strict. Overall Hostel is very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very nice. The main building is very big. The Institute has auditorium for different programs to to be held. There are so many facilities like library, gymkhana, etc. Institute has sports facilities as well. It has cricket ground, football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, etc. So many events are taken by clubs at Institute. There are 3 hostel buildings, one is boy’s hostel, one is girl’s hostel and one is PG hostel.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is very amazing. I have got a nice peer group which is supportive and motivating. They all are very good at studies and other activities also. We do have lots of fun. There are so many clubs like Pratubimb, Rangavardhan, etc. cultural, ‘Tecnowanza’, DLA as technical clubs, etc. They arrange very interesting events and we learn a lot from that. Fests are attended by very famous celebrities. The Institute life is full of fun and it also teaches good things to us.

    VJTI is a great State Engineering institute in Maharashtra. It has 16 acres of campus located in the heart of Mumbai, in Matunga. The factors which made me choose this institute was a suggestion given by seniors. The placement here at VJTI is above par and the peer group is also good. I only came to know about it after the first JEE attempt in January, when I started the preparation for CET.     VJTI is the best college that you can get through MHTCET. In some aspects, it competes with top national institutes and sometimes overshadows them. The fee is also very affordable since it is a government college. The placements are fantastic. If you ignore the infrastructure, it is a great college.
