Overall Rating
The reason behind me choosing this University is that it is a fast engineering University in Odisha and the placements offered here are good. This University is central university of our Odisha. As this University is one of the best Universities in Odisha so I opted for this one for my higher education. This University offers various benefits and also this is the oldest University of Odisha, so I chose Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Burla.
 

Academics Rating
I chose the branch electrical and electronics engineering. My motive to choose this branch was to learn electronic and electrical field. In this branch there are two benefits, you get placed in core companies and electronics companies. This branch eligibility is minimum 85 and maximum 89 percentile in JEE main entrance exam. The academics here has various clubs that changes your life completely.
The fee of my branch is approximately Rs. 81,000. I am a non regular student. The hostel fee is Rs. 48,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good but some faculties are average. PDF and PPT’s are provided for us and that the benefit here. Some faculties are close to students and some faculties teach in excellent manner. Background of faculty members is good. The teacher student ratio 10:7 and some faculty’s problem solving ability is good. In my opinion all faculty members are mediocre.
 

Placement Rating
Placements cell has great record in the Odisha University.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels in the University are average. The mess food provided to the students includes breakfast, lunch, evening snack and dinner.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of our University is very big and it has a clean environment. Our University view is very beautiful. Library card is allowed to every student so that they can issue books. Our classroom is clean and its seating capacity is good. The classrooms are equipped with smart board, projector, etc. Our University's library, labs, auditoriums are so beautiful and clean. My favorite place is our University campus is seating under tree of our University. Our University canteen is good and sports security and other facilities are very good too.
 

Campus Rating
Normal day at our University campus is less crowdie. In classes days some crowd are there in of our University campus. Our University has many clubs. I am also part in NCC and I have also taken part in other clubs. Fests and events are held in our University. Example IEEE day and alumina of our University is a big sport. Big fests are organized in the University including University fests, parties, etc.

    In overall it's a very good University for a student who is interested in technical studies. This University is well in its campus infrastructure and hall of residences.     This institute has everything that you need. Best campus, best faculties, best clubs, and best infrastructure. The clubs are vibrant and awesome. I got a decent percentile in JEE mains exam which is basically an engineering entrance exam. So I decided to get into this college because it was near to my house.     My overall experience is superb till now. Everything is good from hostel life to college life you will make new friends and overcome many fears like communication skills. Sometimes I get fed up with hostel food but you have to adjust as we living in hostel and had come to fulfill our dreams but there are many food stalls outside hostel so nothing to worry about food.
