In this section, I will list the reasons why LSR is the best. First things first, its environment is liberating. You will immediately start loving yourself after you spend say one year here. The entire atmosphere at the college is such that while studying you will ingrain a lot of confidence in yourself. Almost all the girls that pass out from here pursue higher studies at some of the most reputed colleges in the country. Well, the other reasons are that it is one of the most challenging places on the earth. If you think because you have worked hard in your HSC and you have got admissions here is enough then please rethink. There are no silver platters serving here. The professors will make you work out of your skin. Well, in life you have your days like everyone else but if you study at LSR, you have no choice but to rise with the sun and then keep burning without having any fear of falling. I chose this for myself and I am happy that I did.

The best part about LSR is that it only has toppers studying from respective schools. Most of these topper students want to have the same numbers in college too, so studies stay paramount. As a student of LSR, we had no choice but to keep reading and keep learning more. The one with bookish knowledge is considered a nincompoop here, so I used to go to the library every day and read about all the events happening in the world. It wasn’t just me but almost all the girls did the same because having a degree of B.Com (Hons) was not enough at LSR. We were taught to push the boundaries and be those girls who can be a part of any debate. For that to happen, we also had to have knowledge about those things and this is where LSR has done exceptionally well.

Faculties here laid down too many disciplinary measures and rules. I initially thought I am still in school so why follow such rules in college. Then I put myself in my professor's shoes and saw that if a professor relaxed all the rules, we would have never understood or realized the value that a quality education can bring to us. Well, one of my professors told me that if you are scared of this grueling then better be a housewife because future work life is going to be more grueling than this. He was obviously right and I am thankful to all the professors for preparing us to face the world.

Look, placements one can say were 70–80% but how many students actually took placements is the question. Not even 30% because almost every girl studying here had plans for higher studies and which they did too. Companies like JSW group, NHPC, BHEL, L&T, and Deloitte were a part of the recruitment group that offered us kind enough salaries. However, we were LSRians and were certainly never going to be satisfied with what we were offered.

Just to make sure that girls coming from outside don’t get exposed to Delhi culture at the beginning, the college has made a hostel available on its campus for all 1st-year students who come from outside. From the second year onwards, the outsiders had to find themselves a new place as the hostel is meant just for the 1st-year students. LSR hostel was good as many events happened at the hostel and even though there were some tight rules, the girls used to enjoy their time at the hostel. I wish even I had that opportunity but never mind as things look different in hindsight but in reality, they are much different.

A stretched campus that boasts a couple of gardens, a playing area, and two canteens, one for staff and another one for students. There were two buildings: the main building was close to the main gate and the new building was behind the main building. Nescafe Hub and Gazebos used to be our areas in the first two years and then we shifted our corners to PSYCH Terrace where some real debates used to take place. There was medical assistance available at the campus and to make sure students stay fit, there were enough RO water purifiers on the campus.

If one comes at LSR Campus and doesn’t join its societies then it’s a waste. Expressions, Projekt, Hive, and Public Speaking Societies were some of the most turnaround student societies. Students of many colleges are invited to the LSR campus who thinks they can challenge us. The annual event Tarang saw a turnaround from around 40 colleges and needless to say that it was LSR ladies that ruled in most of the events.
