Life at Vignan's Institute of Information Technology

Overall Rating
I will give a rating 8 out of 10 for my overall experience in the Institute. One of the things that I liked the most is nature and environment in our Institute and they offer good percent of placement to the students as compared to other Institutes in the city. Institute faculty members are friendly and they encourage every student to develop knowledge and skills with them by providing projects. My seniors suggested me to join here and similarly I also suggested some of my friends to join in this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
The course I choose was AI & DS (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) which is one of the specializations in our Institute. There are various admission processes by which you can join our Institute. The methods by which you can apply are, management quota and convener quota which is done through APEAMCET counseling. Coming to frequency of exams every week a weekly exam is conducted. For every 3 months a mid-term exam and for every 6 months a semester exam is conducted for the completion of a semester for a year. Examination paper consists of variety of questions that also includes real-life situations.
Fee for my chosen course and other courses are Rs. 52,000 only per year. There are various fees excluding Institute fees. The other fee includes CRT fees, Exam fees, Library fees, NBA fees, etc. This totally costs around Rs. 6,000 per year. There are various scholarships which are accepted by our Institute like Government Scholarships, Sports category scholarships which help parents to decrease the fee burden.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members teaching my chosen course, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, are highly qualified and possess deep expertise in their respective fields. Many of them hold advanced degrees such as M.Tech, Ph.D and minimum degree of B.Tech. The teaching methods by the faculties are a blend of traditional and modern approaches. Classes are conducted using blackboards, Power Point Presentation, etc. The teacher-student ratio at the Institute is balanced, allowing personalized attention and interactions to each student.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell at our Institute plays a pivotal role in shaping career prospects of students. Various activities and programs conducted through placement cell are training sessions are, Industry visits, company-specific preparations, etc. Recently this year we have highest offer by the recruiters which is 23 LPA by two students and average package in our Institute is 4 LPA. There are various companies like Accenture, Infosys, Encircles, Brandix, Infinite Computer Solutions have recruited students in our Institute.
 

Hostel Rating
The Institute offers well-maintained residential facilities for students, providing a comfortable and safe environment for both boys and girls. The hostels are separate for both boys and girls, ensuring privacy and security. They have dedicated wardens managing each hostel. The mess offers hygienic and nutritious food with variety of options. Students are served three meals a day along with snacks in evening. Hostel fees ranges from Rs. 70,000 to 90,000 depending on the year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of our Institute is well-designed to foster an excellent learning and extracurricular environment for students. The classrooms are spacious, with a seating capacity accommodating 60-70 students comfortably. The campus offers a well maintained canteen serving hygienic food, a medical center for basic needs and a dedicated transport facility connecting nearby areas. My favorite place or spot on campus is the library that provides a quiet and resourceful environment.
 

Campus Rating
Our life in our Institute is good as compared to other Institutes. There are various clubs and cells in our Institute to provide growth and maintain positive attitude for students. Coming to fests in our Institute, there are technical fests like Hackathons and Ideathons that are conducted by students itself and also various student cultural fests that are also conducted every year. As I said earlier about campus life that it is good. There are more than 8,000 students in our Institute who are engaged with activities in their life.

    I like my institute as the environment, infrastructure and maintenance is good. First of all, my 1st year experience is amazing. The time table is good and we had the time to adjust ourselves to our institute routine. My experience was good until I'm in 2nd year as the curriculum little bit suffered due to the change in staff.     My institute is located in a vast area. Since it is in the outskirts of the city, it has a peaceful environment to study. Placements statistics are generally 50% and the companies visiting the institute for hiring the students offer less packages.... Read Full Review
