Exploring Academics at SGU Bhopal

Overall Rating
SAM Global University, Bhopal is one of the fastest growing universities in the central India. University has a huge 50 acre campus. Along with academics all sorts of extracurricular activities are also given equal weight age which is quite different from other universities. Faculty here has their PhDs done. So, I would suggest you this university for admission.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen the BAMS course. SAM Global University, Bhopal is present in the list of top 5 private universities of Bhopal. You have to qualify the NEET UG examination to take admission in this university. Admission is done according to the counseling process. BAMS course tenure consists of 3 Professional BAMS, each for 18 months and a yearlong compulsory internship, making it a 5.5 year course just like MBBS. University exams are conducted at the end of each professional BAMS that is in 18 months.
The total fee is about Rs.16,00,000 for the entire course that is 5.5 years. Fee is paid in each professional BAMS. All students have equal fee. Scholarships are given by the central government.
 

Faculty Rating
Here faculties are very well educated. All the faculty members have an experience of about more than 15 years and have published many research papers at both national and international level. University’s Dean Dr.Akhilesh Singh has an experience of 19 years and has published national and international research papers, wrote many books related to the Medical Science and Ayurveda. The teacher student ratio is nearly about 1:100. The faculty’s nature is also very good; students can interact with the faculty just like a family member.
 

Placement Rating
Companies like Himalayas, Zydus, Cipla come every year and recruit students with a decent package. Average package is nearly about 6 LPA to & 7 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the university has its own hostel facilities. There are about 160 rooms. Some rooms are single while others have occupancy of 2 students each. Girls and boys hostel are separate. The food of the mess is quite good as compared to other hostels. 3 meals and snacks are given at the mess. Hostel rules need to be strictly followed. My overall hostel experience is also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
SAM Global University, Bhopal has a very beautiful lush green campus. University has installed smart boards in every classroom and classrooms have a capacity for around 100 students. Library, auditorium hall, seminar hall, and practical labs are present in the campus. Well maintained canteen is also present in the campus for serving delicious snacks. Sports tournaments are held every now and then in university ground. Security system is also good.
 

Campus Rating
The Overall Campus life at SAM Global University, Bhopal was excellent. I have played many games and won trophies for the university. There are many clubs present in the university such as yoga club, dancing club, singing club, etc. Fests and events are conducted annually. My experience at the university was good and memorable one.
