Overall Rating
Honestly speaking the factor that made me choose this university is the quality education, faculty and the fees structure. The university is providing all types of facilities. The best part is that the university is situated in hilly area on top of Sagar which is very beautiful. The university also provides those courses which are rarely provided in any reputed college but the bad part is that the university provides less placements.
 

Academics Rating
I have done LL.B course from the Dr. Harisingh Gour University. the motive for enrolling is that they provide better education. For getting admission in university one has to give the CUET exam and according to that cut off is set and if you have cleared the cut off you are eligible for attending counseling. The highest scoring student will get the admission and this process will continue till all seats of particular course are not filled.
Fee structure is very low as compared to other colleges. The university is central university and follows the semester system. For LL.B (3 years) for 2023 it is approx Rs. 3000 per semester. Apart from that many scholarships are provided to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The Faculty of Dr. Harisingh Gour University is very good and very supportive for students. In Law Department, there are less permanent teachers but they are fabulous the way of teaching of each and every teacher is unique. They pay attention on each and every student. Guest faculty of university is also very good. The faculty involves students in many activities like giving assignments, ppts, group discussion, moot courts, etc. My experience and bonding with the faculty members is very good and you can approach them any time.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the university. But only selected company visit for placement and the packages offered by them are less.
 

Hostel Rating
The university provides hostels for the students. For girls and boys there are separate hostels. Hostels facility is good. For student who is pursuing bachelors they have separate hostel and for PG student they have separate hostels. Mess food is not so good, but all the things are available in hostel like egg, fruit, bread, etc. Hostel timing for girls is 8 PM, after this fine is imposed and call is made to her parents and hostel timing for boys is opens 24 hours with no restrictions.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Dr. Harisingh Gour University have old infrastructure but many department and seminar halls are renovated. The classrooms are big and having sufficient capacity. There are 2 main libraries and apart from that each department has its own library too and a seminar hall, labs, etc. There is a canteen facility, stationary and medical facility for the students. And every year sports activities are conducted for the students and district & national level certificates are provided to the winners and participants. Apart from that the university has NCC and NSS.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of Dr. Harisingh Gour University is good. The campus is very big and from time to time many extracurricular activities are organised by the university. No fest or festivals are celebrated here. But the Birthday of Gour Saab is celebrated every year and many celebrity or guests are invited here. The most amazing part of this university is that it is situated in hilly area which in winter looks very beautiful.

I choose this college and this course because this is one of the oldest institutes teaching Forensic Science in India.     This university has a lush green campus, situated on a hilly region. It has a good environment and a nice weather. Our university has more than 50 departments along with sophisticated instrument labs. The whole campus has MHRD enabled Wi-Fi where each and every student can get free access to the internet.     This university is a nice place to study. This university has a very good environment. There are many departments available here to study and it’s a fully government university. The certification value from this university is very much reputed all over India. I choose this course because there are many alumni from the law field who have studied from this college.
