Overall Rating
Guwahati college is one of the most famous colleges in Guwahati in terms of educational quality and extracurricular activities. The teaching faculty is also good in their work. They are very supportive and approachable towards students. All the departments provide necessary labs, library books, magazines, newspaper, Wi-Fi facility to the students. There are also internships or workshop programs are held every year for the benefits of the students.
 

Academics Rating
The chemistry department is quite good in this college for the average students. The department provides 3 labs, one particular library for the students. There is also Wi-Fi facility in here. The admission cut-off is around 70 to 75 percent in the college. There are two exams conducted in each semester and the students must qualify the semester exam, one is sessional and the other one is final. These are conducted by the college or the University.
Around Rs. 5,000 for the admission fees. Around Rs. 1,600 for the form fill up process for each semester. Scholarship like NSP is provided by the college according to the eligibility of the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. They provide best teaching and mentorship. There are 3 to 4 teachers for each department and 2 helpers for each department. Apart from that our teachers offer numerous extracurricular activities, including clubs, cultural events, sports, and competitions, fostering holistic development of the college. The teachers help us in every educational problem and are supportive to the students. The teachers use the blackboard still but explain every topic well.
 

Placement Rating
Our college helps in to get higher education like masters in a particular subject in other Universities. But there is lack of placement in our college.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college doesn't provide any hostel facility. Students can rent PG outside the college at affordable price.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are separate buildings for art's, science and commerce stream. The college’s central library and the other blocks like canteen, common rooms are also separate. There is a medium size seminar hall and conference hall in the college. There is a stage for cultural activities. The classrooms are modernized and they improve the capacity. Especially for me the greenery of the college campus is very charming to see. Students can play cricket, badminton, carom in their free time.
 

Campus Rating
The college campus has a friendly educational environment so that students study well. There is a small playground for little sports activities. The college crowd is very good every day. There are 2 or 3 clubs to help students in different situations. There is a college union also to help students. College annual fests, Bihu celebration, sports week, cultural rally, sports week, different types of internship, workshop, are also held in the college campus.
