Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology: one of the best Engineering Institute of Delhi

Overall Rating
Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology is located in sector 17 of Rohini sub-city in new Delhi district. It has a well-maintained campus of 6 acres. Campus includes a main building, one girls hostel, a canteen and a ground. The students in the Institute can play various sports in the campus including, cricket, volleyball, football and basketball, etc. These are the official sports of the college and there is a basketball court and two football goal posts in the ground. There is a library at the 3th floor which has a really good infrastructure and collection of books.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen electrical and electronics engineering as my course because I have always been interested in the hardware of the devices. Admission in the college is done on the basis of either your joint entrance exam rank or IPU-CET score. Candidates must pass the 12th class with a minimum of 55% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. They must also pass English as a subject. In my course exams take place 3 times over the course of one semester which includes a first mid semester, a second mid semester and an end semester exam.
My fees for the first year of my course are one lakh and seventy one thousand rupees. There is a miscellaneous fee of five thousand rupees and a additional fees of eight thousand rupees for the book bank. Out of the total fees, tuition fees are about one lakh and thirty nine thousand. The Institute charges are twenty thousand, alumni contribution fund is two thousand rupees, and fees remain almost same every year with around ten thousand rupees decreasing as the years go by.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are highly experienced and practiced in their jobs. They are qualified from premium institutes which are visible in their teaching. They all teach primarily on black boards and they all are very helpful whenever it comes to solving our doubts or any kind of issue related to the subject or college in general. The professors are chill and they joke around with first year students. They also try to make them comfortable every now and then.
 

Placement Rating
Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology has a very active and supportive placement cell. Their multiple tech societies help students to become confident, learn skills required for a good tech job and the last data of placements of 2023 reflects this. Last year there were 2 placements in Zomato for 50 LPA and over thirty placements over 10 LPA. A lot of these placements were off campus too.
 

Hostel Rating
There is only one girls hostel in the campus and I am a boy so, I don't know very much about them but from what I have heard from my female friends who live their it’s pretty comfortable and safe. They get food from mess on daily basis and the gates are closed at around 9 PM in night. No boys are allowed inside the hostel. Hostel has 64 twin sharing rooms which can accommodate 128 girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has a size of 6 acres and contains a main building, a ground, a girl’s hostel and a canteen. There is a fully air conditioned library which has a very big collection of books. There are a variety of labs in the campus including a computer lab, a chemistry lab, a language lab and a electrical lab.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is pretty good. The college crown is honestly a mix of people from different parts of the country and you will have to filter out who you want to hang out with and from whom to stay away. There are variety of clubs focusing on variety of skills and issues. I myself am part of the Literary and Rotaract club of the college and they all are pretty active. There are multiple events every year like Anugoonj which is a literary fest of whole IPU and Malhaar which is the biggest fest of BPIT.

    I got BPIT through IPU counselling and JEE Mains CRL. The branch was allotted to me was Electronics and Communication Engineering. The surroundings and environment at the college is too good, also there is cleanliness, and peaceful surroundings around it.
