I thought of leaving Bhopal after a torrid time at IES College of Technology. Well M.E. is one course where the strength is always low and LNCT’s batch was no different. LNCT Bhopal had 1200 students for B. Tech in CS while M.E. had just 200 students. LNCT can help you get placed in Accenture or TCS but that wasn’t the only thing for which I admire LNCT. However, LNCT is tough and will make your life tough because 75% attendance is no joke and some faculties even demanded 80% attendance. At LNCT, there is no fine as students with lesser attendance without a strong valid reason have no option but to skip the semesters because the college anyways doesn't allow them to sit for the exams. The crowd of LNCT may be less fancy than other private colleges of Bhopal but indeed the best crowd academically because they just don’t fill their seats without properly examining the student's report card. Considering all the things that I have to write in review, LNCT is definitely the best college of Bhopal.

LNCT is strict with attendance because they teach a lot of productive things in class. B.E. looked meaningless as all the languages that I learned or rather pretended to learn, I had to learn them again and thank God, I did because I literally didn’t know anything. Well, the studies here were just like school, like the lectures were sharp on time and extra lectures if required. Doubt solving classes every week, and the labs never left us. One thing which every engineer may relate to is that your assignments are checked here. All the engineering students in other institutes know that assignments are nothing but a passing game where we take someone else’s assignment and submit it. Well, at LNCT, you just can't do that.

Their qualifications stunned me and what stunned me more was their teaching style. How to understand things so that we can never forget. They shared all those secretive techniques with us and saved a lot of our time. Every single second spent with them was like learning new things and not just that I learned various things from them, I also learned a lot of discipline from them and also why discipline is necessary. If you don’t respect your body and time, they will haunt you later. So, faculties were not friends but a guiding force that always guided me to do better things.

LNCT Bhopal placement cell helps all able students to get placed from the campus. Some of famous houses like Infosys, Amdocs, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, and many others come and hire students for CSE branch. The average package offered to CSE students was around 8 lakhs and the average has increased in recent years, so I am sure students now must be getting around 10 lakhs. I agree to the fact that placements weren’t 100% but as I have said able students can’t go unplaced and because 80% or more students of LNCT fell in that category, they received the highest placements from the college.

The boys PG hostel had very less capacity but the best part was it was located within the campus and therefore staying there was the best possible option. The rooms had attached washrooms and AC rooms were also available. The rooms were spacious as one can invite at least 3–4 friends and do group study together in a single room. Every hostel had their own mess and we were free to choose the mess.

The campus size is 35 acres and because I am hungry right now, I will start off with the two café’s at the college. One is a canteen named food court and the other one is a Nescafe bar. One can get meals, snacks, beverages, coffees, and fast food at college canteen and café. There’s not one but two ATMs at the campus as ICICI Bank and Axis Bank ATMs. There is a dispensary at the campus and also doctors used to reside at the campus. The medical service was available 24*7 at the campus. There were seminar halls and an auditorium. The seminar halls were small but the auditorium could manage a gathering of over 1000 people as it was that big. There’s an indoor sports room which was smaller compared to the number of students the college has but outdoor facilities were no less as there were multiple grounds at the LNCT campus.

In my final year at the college, the event Shristi was launched as the campaign Khelo India was going all guns and to ensure that LNCT too promote sports, a sports fest of a large scale was organized at LNCT campus. Apart from that, there were various other events and fests that kept happening but M.E. students had to distance themselves from that as we couldn’t waste our single minute.
