NIST University Berhampur: One of the Best in the State

Overall Rating
It is one of the best universities in Odisha. It is also famous for its placements and job opportunities. Faculties, facilities, and environment all are very nice. This year (2024), it becomes University from Autonomous university so things including placement and facilities, teaching methods, clubs, extracurricular activities, internships all things are better than before. Therefore, I suggest all to choose NIST University Berhampur.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Electrical Engineering in B.Tech just because there are many opportunities in this field. Eligible criteria for admission is that the students must be attend any of the entrance exam like JEE, OJEE, etc., otherwise a exam conducted by the university. Exams are conducted semester wise. For real life change, the university prepares you well but this is mostly in your hand.
In Electrical Engineering, you pay Rs. 1,07,000 per year. For branches like CSE, CST, Data Science, IT, and AIML, tuition fee is Rs. 1,62,000 per year. Tuition fee for other branches like EE, ME, EEE, and CE fee is Rs. 1,07,000 per year. Admission fee is Rs. 15000, registration fee is Rs. 400, and caution fee is Rs. 5000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of NIST University are highly educated and quality and most of them are PhD holders. The teaching style is very nice and easy to learn for a student. They are also very friendly. Student reaches out them any time for any doubts. Out of these, the faculties are very time punctual.
 

Placement Rating
As I mentioned before that NIST University Berhampur is very famous for its placements and job opportunities. There are many high level companies come in our university placement like TCS, Flipkart, etc. There are many internship come while academic year. Recently an internship opportunity came for many domains such as AI-ML, Cyber security, Digital marketing, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
There are totally three hostels. One is girl’s hostel and other two are boy’s hostels. Rooms are divided in different categories like AC and non-AC rooms, 3-person room and 4-person room. Fee for AC room is Rs. 53,000 and non-AC room is Rs. 35,000 per year. Mess food is good. They give 4 times in a day breakfast, launch, snacks, and dinner. Fee for mess is Rs. 4,000 per month. Medical facility is available for 24/7.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This is largest campus comparison to all the engineering universities in the district. Classrooms are also big and very hygienic with the seating capacity of more than 60 students. There are many facilities available in the university including library, auditorium, GYM, indoor stadium, and different outdoor stadiums according to different sports like basketball, cricket, football, etc. Medical facility is very nice here as a medical center is there in university All the things are very beautiful of this university.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very beautiful because of the beautiful environment, faculties and seniors are supportive. There is big crowd in university campus every day. Yes, there are more than 20 clubs like dance club, music club, robotics club, management club, etc. Yes, it is famous for its curricular activities. There are many events celebrate in university, a big event celebrate every year named Sankalp. My experience about the college life is really very beautiful.

    The campus is very good and provides the entire required infrastructure. As this is a very good college so I was very interested to join here. In this college professors are quite knowledgeable, and this college also has a great curriculum. The library is filled with many books and the laboratories are excellent with modern facilities.     NIST University is the best college in Ganjam District. It has best faculty teachers. All seniors are supporting in every types of problems faced by students.
