DYPIET Pune Stands Out for Engineering Placements

The overall experience at the institute till now is awesome. I chose this institute because it is well known institute and nearby my home and also has good placement rate. The pre placement talk takes place every now and then I think this is the reason this institute is different from the other institutes. There is no better institute then this in nearby area. This institute has been good for the mechanical course you can say one of the best for it.

The course I have chosen is mechanical branch. I am interested in automobile industry so I chose the same. Requirement is the CET examination, those students who give CET are applicable for engineering and based on the CET percentile. Admission process is very simple only visit the institute and the staff will help you. Exams will be scheduled every 2 months. Academics prepare the students very well for the real life challenges.

The yearly fees I am paying are Rs. 1,17,000 and I pay the fees in 2 to 3 installment. Tuition fee is Rs. 1,03,541. Development fee is Rs. 13459. For OBC students they have Rs. 56000 fees per year. SC students have Rs. 13000 fees per year. Yes there is scholarship available for the financially weak students (56000 is the yearly fee for them).

Faculty members of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri have loads of experience in teaching. They are highly educated with doctorate. They use methods like blackboards and PPTs. Also if there are doubts, and teachers cannot solve instantly they try to solve it afterwards but they will clear the doubts. Every branch has 10 to 20 faculty members and the students are 150 to 250. They are very approachable towards the students and very friendly. Teacher's knows the students very well by their behavior and makes them comfortable.

Placement cell is very active in our campus. Firstly they organise so many pre placement talks by the industrialist. Companies like TATA, Ashok Leyland, JSW, Capgemini, etc. offers placement opportunities to the students. Highest package was 70 LPA and average package is 4 to 7 LPA.

Campus size is not so big and the locality is good. Classrooms are also too big about 60 to 70 students can seat at a time. There are academic facilities given to students like a huge library where we can find every book, labs with good computers and machines and seminar hall for various programs. Auditorium is there but it is near medical institute about 1 km from the campus. Canteen is available in the campus. Security is tight, no one is allowed to enter the campus without I'd card. The infrastructure of Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri is very good. My favorite place in the institute is the canteen.

The institute crowd is normal. Campus Life is going good. Yes, there are various clubs but I am not a part of the club. Extracurricular activities are organised for sports, dancing, singing and all. Events are also organised in Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri annually. There are very interesting activities happening in the institute and everyone is involved in it. It is a great experience to volunteer the events. If we take part in these events we can make friends which can help us in the studies and placements as well.
