Exploring TRP Engineering College: Academic Facilities and Campus Life

Overall Rating
Hello all, this is my overall summary of the college. Factors that made me choose this particular college is that, it's near my hometown and is affordable too. We have everything here which is good for making the learning process effective. Good quality hostels and hygienic food is available here for students. We also have a super market here. It's overall a great experience in staying in this hostel in Trichy. You can choose TRP Engineering College, as it is a good college.
 

Academics Rating
The course I've chosen is Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science subject which is the most demanded subject for the upcoming years. The entry requirements are of two ways, which is management quota and counseling. It's a government and private scheme here in Tamil Nadu.
Fees structures depends on every individual students based on their marks and grades in their high-school. Otherwise we have scholarship options too. Amount may differ for each and every students and courses.
 

Faculty Rating
Every Faculty here is Ph.D holder. They are scholars and experienced with many degrees required for their courses. The teacher student ratio at the college is very good. They also use ppt, blackboard, and smart boards, for teaching. Activities like group discussions and many others are also organised for better learning. Our experiences and bonding with the faculty members is good. We all are learning more problem solving skills and abilities from them.
 

Placement Rating
As far as I've heard, placements are way more easy and applicable if you have good skills with no history of arrears. Packages may vary from course to course.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, TRP Engineering College itself has many hostels and pgs. We even have individual homes for married and family faculties. In our hostel, there are 8 floors with a quality mess and study rooms. Girls and boys hostels are separate. We have shuttle courts. Hostel fee is affordable that costs around 90K to 2 Lakh for different types of rooms and facilities. 6 pm is our entry time for girls. This is my overall experiences in hostel as a hosteller. Hostel life is super good with good wardens and super friendly supervisors.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks have 3+ floors and more construction work is going on to improvise it further. It's quite big with 200+ acres of locality which is on the highways. The classrooms can accommodate up to 70+ students and has a smart board & black board. There are libraries, labs, seminar halls, several conference halls, auditorium, canteens, restaurants, sports grounds, hospital, transport and great security facilities. Everything is good at TRP Engineering College. Among all I would choose our hangout spot here.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is quite calm and beautiful. The crowd is manageable. A lot of clubs are present in the college and I'm a member in a couple of clubs. There are a number of symposiums, events, fests and other cultural & extracurricular activities that are held here. Overall it's a nice experience of studying in this campus with good academics, highly professional faculties and placements.
