An Unique Learning Experience at Maharashtra National Law University

Overall Rating
MNLUA might not rank among the top tier NLUs, but it offers a unique learning experience that sets it apart. The standout feature includes exceptional teachers and the university’s location which instills resilience and adaptability in the students as they navigate daily challenges. At MNLUA you not only grow as a law student but also as an individual ready for interviews and real world challenges.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.A.LL.B (Hons.). It is a five year integrated course that combines law and social sciences. My motive was to gain comprehensive understanding of the legal system and its role in the society. Eligibility requires 10+2 with at least 45% marks and a valid CLAT score. Exams are conducted twice in a semester here. The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical learning through moots sessions, internship, research and similar experiences for tackling real world challenges.
The fee for the program is structured semester wise. The approximate yearly fee is ₹ 1, 75,000 which included Tuition and other charges. Scholarship for Maharashtra students and EWS are available here.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is well qualified with diverse academic background like Ph.D, industry experience and research expertise. The teaching method includes a mix of traditional whiteboard teaching, ppts, presentation, group discussions, etc. The faculty members also encourage interactive learning through moots, debates, assessments, and viva. Further their problem solving skills are commendable from compromising with students to making them understand their point of view in the same matter creating a balance in personal and professional lives of all.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the students and the industry. It assists students in securing internships, with law firms, corporate houses, NGOs, government organisations.
 

Hostel Rating
Maharashtra National Law University provides on campus hostel facilities to both boys and girls with single and double occupancy. Facilities include gym, 24/7 Wifi, security, and other. Further Mess fees include Rs. 16,000 - Rs. 17,000. As well as there is a curfew at 10:00 pm for all.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The classrooms at Maharashtra National Law University are quite spacious accommodating 60-70 students. The classrooms are equipped with modern aids like projectors, smart boards to enhance learning experience. The campus also has a well stocked library, seminar halls & auditoriums for conferences, guest lecture & cultural events, canteen, academic block, common reading room and a sports complex that is under development. The medical facilities are available in the hostels 24/7 though with few government medicines. Proper security is also there.
 

Campus Rating
It is enriching and engaging. It has perfect blend of academics and cultural events, offering a balanced experience to the students. The college has several active clubs, moot coot associations, research and development cell, cultural committee, debating society, etc. The student body is diverse from different parts of India; the crowd is friendly, motivating, and a little academically driven, creating a collaborative and competitive atmosphere. The college organises variety of extracurricular activities like intra moots and many more for the all round development and growth of the students.

    It is a decent university in terms of education and other facilities provided. Being an NLU, the university will give you various perks. It is in a developing phase as of December 2024 but in a few years, most of the infrastructure will be ready.     MNLU Aurangabad is a budding university among what are considered as the tier three National Law Schools. The climate of this city is pleasant. The teachers are seldom helpful. The crowd of this university majorly consists of students from Maharashtra and the same is with the case of teachers. Moot courts and debates are not encouraged, but groups of students participate in it regularly.
