MBBS EXPERIENCE IN GMC ONGOLE

Overall Rating
Study at GMC Ongole is really worth it after all the NEET struggles. The Infrastructure and faculties are very good and students are also encouraged in extracurricular activities. College life at its best with many fests and cultural programs. Students get great exposure due to good OP count at the hospital and can develop great skill under guidance of professionals over here. There's no ragging in the campus and seniors are quite friendly. Great hostel facilities and mess quality.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is MBBS. I got this college in Andhra Pradesh state counseling 2023. This college wasn't my first preference but I am happy to get this. After counseling results you will be given an allotment letter by the counseling board. Within the pre decided due you have to submit the allotment letter in the respective college. They will ask you to fill a form and do few medical checkups. After filling it and paying academic fee you are officially enrolled in to college.
Government fee is Rs. 10,000 per annum. Hostel fee is Rs. 600 per month. Mess fee is Rs. 4,000 per month. Books expenses are taken care of by themselves.
 

Faculty Rating
Friendly faculty. Efficient and qualified with post graduation in their respective departments. Always enthusiastic and dedicated towards the progress of the academic performance of the peer. Monitor every student individually and guide accordingly. Principal sir takes care of all the students irrespective of massive strength. Teaching is good and strict regarding attendance and performance in internals. Overall they are highly qualified, dedicated, determined and oriented towards enhancing students growth and academic performance.
 

Placement Rating
There are no placements since it’s a medical course and entrance exams only allot students.
 

Hostel Rating
Good hostel with nice facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very well organized and experienced. There is a separate academic section in the college which deals with the admissions, scholarships and exam applications. The campus is very huge comprising college, hospital, blood bank, pharmacy, UG and PG hostels for both boys and girls and canteens. The seating capacity of the classroom is 250 in a single gallery and the college consists of 4 such galleries. There are many academic facilities like Library, lab, auditorium, seminar halls, etc.
 

Campus Rating
My college life is pretty good and memorable. The college crowd is good qualitatively and there are many clubs which deal with various extracurricular activities. We have sports club, dance club, drama club and NSS groups. I'm a part of dance club and we contribute actively to the college events such as fests and anniversaries, etc. Every year we have a college day in the month of march which is a week long event with various new concepts on each day.
