The college I study is Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. It is located in Shivajinagar, Pune. It is one of the renowned and oldest colleges in Pune. It provides students with numerous courses be it B.Com or BA. The college also give the students an option to pursue a professional course such as ACCA or CMA along with the B.Com degree, with exception to the papers need to be written .The months I have studied and spent time in this college have been amazing and pretty memorable. The college provides numerous clubs and activities for the students to indulge in. SCAC has a good placement cell for which the Top companies come for and also provides informative internships.

I have been always interested in finance and that's why I chose to purse B.Com with ACCA in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce. The college also provided an opportunity to compel the professional course along with my B.Com degree. Out of 13 papers there is an exemption of 9 papers hence I have to write only 4 papers. The admission process is different for each student depending on which country they completed their high school graduation. The students have to apply through the college website and fulfill the required criteria’s.

The fees for B.Com with ACCA FY: Rs. 1,40,000- Rs. 1,50,000, SY: Rs. 99,000- Rs. 1,00,000 and TY: Rs. 99,000- Rs. 1,00,000. This college provides reasonable and affordable fees for such professional courses. There is Rs. 46000 (non refundable) admission fee.

The faculty is pretty good. They are really supportive of the students and helps in any way possible. The teacher is well qualified for the subjects they teach. The faculty members are very forthcoming, never says no to the students when they need help. They are very welcoming especially to the freshers. Students are very much able to bond with their respective teachers and comprehend what they are teaching. The members are supportive and encouraging; they ask students to engage in more activities and help sharpen their skills.

Yes, hostel facilities are available in the college. The hostel fees vary from Rs. 2, 16,000 to Rs. 2, 25,000 depending on the number of students sharing.

Campus locality of Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce has 3 blocks which act as 3 different colleges. SSI, SSE and SCAC. SCAC has total of 4 floors with basement included. In the ground floor there are classes and library with all the books you will need and reading hall right next to it, which provides a peaceful and silent place to study. The other floors have classes and offices. The college is equipped with all the necessities that are needed. Right opposite to the college is the canteen. And 2 minutes away is the health center which is included in fees.

Overall campus life in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce is good. You get introduced to many top personalities and get to experience many festivities which include MUN and start up fest. NSS is a very prominent club in Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce it has Winter club and amazing programs. The most crowded place in the campus is the canteen; people are there all the time. There are programs conducted by clubs such as Murder Mystery and Simulators. There are all types of programs according to your interest and the college teaches you how to have a social life with concentrating on your education. I would say that I am having a enjoying a good campus life at the college.
