Hansraj College Stands Out in DU North Campus

Strong and strict foundation of studies, academic curriculum, provided with eminent faculties and active supportive principal - Rama ma’am. A strong sense of community and guidance is provided whenever needed. The Placement Cell is active and gives support to students. The faculties over here are knowledgeable and encouraging. The subject command of teachers is wonderful, and nothing taught by them goes forgotten. I believe that the overall curriculum is wonderful. This whole college is excellent for academics in the North campus of Delhi University. It was a mix of healthy, happy and disciplined ambience. All the faculties over here are unbeatable from whom I have learned a lot.

I opted for life sciences, and I think it was a good decision to choose this course as labs for the course were well equipped. This course provided real life experience in life sciences, and this college helped me to understand all the future prospects of it. The frequency of tests and semester exams helped in proper revision of the course, and I scored a very good CGPA over here.

Being one of the top colleges in the north campus of New Delhi, the fees of my course during my time was nearly Rs.22,000/- per year and I studied over here for six semesters. I think it was pretty affordable.

The faculty over here is very eminent and they all are well-experienced. Having knowledge about their subjects, they are able to clear our doubts very well. Most of the faculty had their expertise in their subjects. They used to solve our problems whenever we had one during the course and approximately 50 students were there in the class. The class in-charge was also supportive.

Hansraj College has a very good placement record, and the Placement Cell of the college is very active. They give placements in highly reputed companies and colleges and most of the students at this college are today placed at some good place.

I didn’t reside in the college hostel as girls hostel was not there at our time, but I think they are running girls hostel or maybe it is in process, but the reviews from my friends who are boys in our class said really nice things about the hostel and the meal provided there as well as the hostel timings were flexible as per students requirement. Safety is also prioritized in the hostel.

College infrastructure is good. All the sports, medical transport and security facilities were nice. There is a huge playground and many students from the college are good players. Nowadays, many students from our college are national level athletes and other game players. There are sanitation pad facilities in the girls changing room. Washrooms are well-cleaned. LP is a lover's point is the main attraction of the college and is famous from the time when Shah Rukh Khan used to study in our college.

The overall campus life was so vibrant in the college. There were so many extracurricular activities and fest organised in the college. The college canteen was serving good food, and there was healthy food options included in the menu. Many eminent people around India have graduated from Hansraj College and I think we were very lucky to be a part of this college. All the community over there is a mix of mini secular India.
