Being a Freshmen in JNTUH College of Engineering

Overall Rating
Overall, experience is good. I have chosen this college as it is a government institute and is ranked number one in Telangana. The faculty is very well qualified. The college is beautiful. It has a lot of greenery. The resources are also good here. The placements are good. The companies that visit campus are also good such as Oracle and Amazon. This college is also listed in top 100 engineering colleges of country as per NIRF ranking.
 

Academics Rating
My course is cyber security and this course is actually self finance and the entry is through ts eamcet or from NRI quota and if we get good rank in ts eapcet we can get this college and also the course the semester end examinations are conducted every six months and there are two mid semester examinations and the average of these two mid exams is taken into account and cgpa is measured as per the academics prepare us well for the real life challenges.
The fee structure for this self-finance Cyber Security course is 1 Lakh per semester. There is a fee waiver if your rank is below 10000 and income is below 2 LPA. For example, if the fee is above 10000 and income is below 1 LPA, then there is a reimbursement of Rs. 35,000. There is also e-pass scholarship facility, which is provided by the state government. The fee for self-finance courses is Rs. 50,000 per year and same reimbursement of Rs. 35,000 is available.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are professionals in their fields. The faculty here is very well qualified for their job. Some faculties teach using PPTs, while others use blackboard. The teachers are also available if you have any doubt, regarding the subject or career aspects. Hence, we can ask them about any issues or queries.
 

Placement Rating
As mentioned earlier, the placement opportunities in JNTUH College of Engineering are very good. Last year, the highest package offered during the drive was 44 LPA from Amazon and average ranging upto 7 to 10 LPA. This year that is 2024, the highest package is around 56 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The college provides hostel facility for outstation students. The girl's and boy's hostels are separate. For first year girls, there is a separate hostel. The infrastructure is good. The food is good. The mess fee is around Rs. 1,500 to 2,000 per month for girls and around Rs. 2,000 to 2,500 for boys. For first year girls, the timings are upto 6 PM and for seniors, it is around 8.30 PM. for first year boys, it is 10 PM and for senior boys, there is no time restriction.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of JNTUH College of Engineering is excellent. The area of campus is around 85 acres. It is filled with greenery. There is a separate building for every department. The classrooms are good. There are two libraries available with wide range of books. The auditorium is very big. There is another auditorium in UGC block. There is also an indoor stadium along with the swimming pool. There is a health care center. There are two canteens and the food is good. Overall, all the facilities are available here.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. There is a sufficient crowd here. There are many clubs in this college. These include some academic clubs like Data Science club, Algorand Blockchain club, etc. along with cultural clubs like Art Meraki, Raagavarsha singing club, elite feet dance club and others. These clubs conduct events to display our talent. Annual fests and many events are conducted as well.

    It is the top 1 University in Telangana. I studied hard to get admission into this college. The faculty and placements was very good in this college. Although it is a university, everything you need is available here. You have a bright future ahead if you join this university.     At the beginning, before visiting college I had huge expectations on B.Tech college. This is because of watching movies. But when I visit the college, it is average. The college is in at remote area, with full of trees. It looks like a building is covered with trees. There we see a lot of monkeys as equal as students.
