College review: Samrat Ashok Technological Institute

Overall Rating
The overall experience is not that bad. The facilities are kind and it's not that bad. They sometimes blame you for not stopping your batch mates for their wrongful doing. This is good in my opinion as it teaches you to be a good human being. Some of the teachers are just great like pure gems and some have some anger issues.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I'm enrolled in is Computer science and engineering Block chain. It deals with a lot of stuff like crypto currency, building security platform and managing data without the third party interference. I had a percentile of 63.34 for enrolling in this course Block chain is a really interesting and intriguing technology that motivated me to enroll for the course. You can go in different career options like cyber security, building secure finance manager, Crypto currency, etc. through block chain.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is like 50-50. Some are super nice and knowledgeable while some are just average. I don't know how they even got the job and some senior teachers who know a lot. When you see the exam paper you get a feeling that are not prepared so better be ready and prepare well for your exams. There are fewer teachers who care and improvise their way of teaching.
 

Placement Rating
The placements opportunities have significantly increased since the last year. The average package is like 6-6.5 LPA. There are even chances that the placements may also increase in the near future.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a local student so I don't think I am eligible for answering that but the buildings are quite old for senior students and the mess menu needs some improvement. Some strict schedule is mandatory as sometimes the food is not on time.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure in some specific places is really good but not in some other areas. It’s like they just repair the things due to that they have a good infrastructure. They do this so that their representation remains good and they can show off. It has a great looking Library, VVNCC lab, conference room, smart classroom and director’s office. The benches in the classroom needs repair.
 

Campus Rating
There is not much to a campus life. We don't have many fest organized inside the campus. There are just 2 fests that are organized in the premises. You can go out with friends but there are not a lot of places where you can go to. There is one restaurant named ‘sky-high’ in which you can go to. Maximum of the college students go to for parties and all. If you want to go a bit far it's like a 15 min drive away from the campus.

    Overall experience till now at Samrat Ashok Technological Institute has been okay-okay. I wasn't going to choose this Institute but it was a compulsion to get admission here. By the way overall faculty of the Institute is good but infrastructure isn't in good condition. There is lots of greenery in our campus and it's so good to walk around.     I chose this College as it’s in my hometown and if you want a govt. College or semi govt. college then it’s a good college for you. The lab classes are conducted on the regular basis.     Samrat Ashok Technological Institute Vidisha is one of the oldest institutes and the faculty members are good. According to my marks in JEE mains it's really good and I am fairly happy with it. Overall campus is good. It's beautiful and filled with greenery which is best for morning walks. The smart Utsav and Techno fest is conducted by the institute. There are various clubs such as FLUX, a dance club called Rudraksh, and a music club called Swar. NSS and Swar are really good.... Read Full Review
