The Overall Student Life at Amity University, Gwalior

Overall Rating
Amity University is a well established university in Gwalior. It has 100 acres of campus with modern facilities to impart practical and research based knowledge to the students for the development of man power. I got enrolled here in 2021 for pursuing Law Honors course. University provides you different opportunities to explore the legal field. They focus on the overall development of students with discipline. Other should take admission in this university for better exploration of their field.
 

Academics Rating
Amity University organised B.A.LL.B integrated course of 5 years. You can take admission through CUET, ALLET, etc. and also via management quota. University has their own moot court premises, sports facility for the student in free classes and library with diversity of books. University conducts mid sem examination in mid of semester and end semester examination in end of semester with full id checks. The students require above 75 percent of attendance for appearing in the end semester exam.
 

Faculty Rating
University has well experienced and knowledgeable faculty for different subjects, the hierarchy starts from assistant professor then associate professor then professor then Head of department then Director of department. In university there are different types of departments like law, technology, pharmacy, journalism, etc. The faculty provides ppt for all the classes and explains every topic deeply with great research. Faculty is so much supportive for students. They always help the students and clear their doubts in the most effective manner.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the university has its own placement cell for the placement of students in the well known companies of the industry for their healthy career. The organisations like Aditya Birla, Cognizant, law firms, etc. came in search of students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes university has its own hostel for the convenience of the student who came from various states. The hostel has free Wi-Fi, one room for 2 students with study table, bed, almirah, and attached bathrooms & washrooms. The university hostel has 800 students population.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I would like to give 5 stars rating for the infrastructure of the university; it has 5 blocks in the building namely A block, B, C, D, and E. Every building has 5 floors and also attached lift for faculty and students. University is working on sustainable development. It has greenest environment in campus with gardens and football ground with small green grass. University also has its own parking places for faculties and students.
 

Campus Rating
University on time to time organise fests, DJ nights, freshers party, orientation program, and sport meet name as Amicroma with participation of all students. The students celebrate different festivals in hostel like Navratri, Holi, etc. very happily & together. In university there are approx. 50,000 or more students in totaling of different courses. Campus has its own security cell in which 50 guards are there. No one can enter the campus without identification.

    Amity University in itself is a brand. This university in terms of good academic structure and all the events happening. In spite of all this, the timings here are a bit long which is 9 to 5 but after some time, it becomes fairly enjoyable. This university has a very strict compliance of 75% attendance.     My reason to choose this university was that it is number one private university in Madhya Pradesh. And it is one of the best colleges for law degree in Gwalior. My experience in the university is great with great faculty. I mostly like the infrastructure of the campus. Now its infrastructure is more developed as one new block is constructed recently....     As I am a third year student, I am pursuing bachelors in computer science & engineering, my overall experience till now in college is very good enough and the infrastructure of my college is well maintained and college infrastructure influences us to work hard.     I have a mixed overall experience as in the initial days my experience was bad because the timings were pretty long it was just like a job with the 9 to 5 timings. Then after a few days, I became quite comfortable and happy and started enjoying my college life. You have so many extracurricular activities to do.     Overall it is a nice college with great campus life and with some pros and cons but overall it is good with not much restriction.
