About my 2nd year spent in Institute

Overall Rating
I am a student of Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) pursuing B.Tech. I have spent 2 years in this Institute and next two are waiting. In first year I was so frustrated with all of their rules and I thought there is no college life in this Institute but after passing 1st year when I entered 2nd year than I realized all the faculty members who forced us to do certain things in 1st year was for our own good. From 2nd year we felt like what a freedom we got and now my feelings is, it's not a bad idea to get admission in this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I am a B.Tech CSE student, so entry requirements are not too much. The requirements are that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade with good marks in PCM. If you got good marks in JEE then it will get easier to take admission in this Institute. My motive for this course was as it is good course and also placement is so nice in this Institute so I took admission here.
 

Faculty Rating
Here, in this Institute faculties are nice. In 1st year you will think that faculty members are very strict and too disguise and strict but after 1st year you will realise they are not bad. They are only showing you a good path. In 2nd year every faculty is so nice and supportive. They are very nice and are always there to motivate you for your success and offer you many opportunities for placements.
 

Placement Rating
I haven’t opted for hostel so I cannot say much about the same. But as a hosteller’s friend I know this that hostels at NIET is average and even the facilities are average including the food. There is same menu followed almost every day.
 

Hostel Rating
Infrastructure of this Institute is quite mediocre as first year campus is too small but better things are there too. Old campus is big than 1st year campus but in comparison of other Institutes in greater noida it is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus life is good in this Institute, but no event is held in this Institute. There are no actors invited to the Institute. There are small events that are organized on a daily basis and also there are too many opportunities to participate in like hackathon, etc. This makes the student’s future better and provides you various opportunities.
 

Campus Rating
Overall NIET is okay to take admission in. In first year you will get frustrated but later you will feel it’s one of the best experiences that you had experienced. The placements in the campus have been good. If you are finding engineering Institute then you must take admission here as compared to other Institutes in greater Noida.

It is little bit stricter than other institutes nearby but the academics of the institute are quite good and there is no issue about the academics. Institute environment is also good.     NIET provides the best learning environment compared to other NCR colleges. Since it is an autonomous institution, hence there are many advantages that students get from it like, syllabus based on industry required skills. Overall Placements are good! This institution is different from many others like it is autonomous. Syllabus is made by the college management which is based on the Industrial skill requirements.     NIET college is good for skills development, as there are various interesting extracurricular activities which develop skills in a student. They mainly focus on Speaking skills as it is very important to improve our vocabulary skills as MNC hires those employees who have proper knowledge of communication and knowledge of how to interact with people.     Strong placement record, experienced faculties, Clean Environment, transportation services are also very good. One of the best Institutes that I have seen in Greater Noida. There are lots of fests organized in this Institute and the students are also nice. They come from a very good family background.     NIET is a good institute when it comes to placements. Admission in NIET is mainly done through AKTU counseling and courses are allotted through the JEE rank. The first year fee submitted in the institute during admission was 179000 rupees, which includes tuition fee, exam fee, student welfare charges and many more. In addition, the institute hostel charges are different based on AC/Non AC. the hostel fee for 4 seater is 93600 rupees. For fees waivers, it is 60000 for first year and 40000 from th...
