One of the best colleges in Odisha

Overall Rating
As per me this is one of the best colleges in Odisha for engineering. It has some of the most advanced lab in the state. It has open gym for workout, for jogging and you could take care of your health as per your wish. It has large smart classrooms with high-tech facility. The teachers are well qualified and very talented in their own field. You could have overall best performance in this college if you could put your full effort.
 

Academics Rating
To get into the college for B.Tech, you have to qualify and get good rank in JEE main. Programs are good and innovative learning is one of the prime focuses here. The teachers here encourage us to work on new and advanced projects. This encourages us to participate in different tech fests like in IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur and many more. We have different options from 2nd year onwards. If you like to go in computer science you may change your branch in 2nd year too.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very well qualified. Some are from IITS, NITS, IIITS, VSSUT and CET. So the teaching faculties are great here and they provide state of art teaching to each and every student. They are very helpful and they provide support in your projects work, etc. Your whole B.Tech life will be going to be wonderful due to them. Some are too strict so you have the chance to get into IITS because here teachers are helping in preparing for GATE exams. Overall the standard of teachers is very good and well maintained.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell and it helps the students to get very good opportunities for placement and internship. They also make sure that every student gets paid according to their caliber.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have 5 hostels, 3 for boys and 2 for girls. Here 1st student is separated from other years to protect them from ragging. Overall the hostels in the campus are really good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It has a very good infrastructure. One main building and central library and the roads are very much fine. We have different clubs here for different activities like coding club, robotics club, etc. We have on e utility block for refreshment and small grocery items are available there. Overall college campus is great as it also has garden and walking space for free time. There is a place to sit like small picnic spots with has very much greener environment.
 

Campus Rating
We have different clubs like coding, robotics, anchoring, sanskruti, music, dance, etc. All clubs are there to encourage such talents with very much support from our seniors and the respective representative teachers of the college. We have also organized many street events like street dance, street acting, and many more social activities like clearing the environment, moving to nearby village to talk with the villagers and with the students of their small village school. We organize many activities among them also.

    Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang.     Parala Maharaja Engineering College is situated in a greenery area. It is surrounded by different kind of trees. The atmosphere is also good. I loved being a part of this college.     Our college is best college in this area. Overall it has an excellent building, campus, most attractive garden, great environment, etc. It provides quality education, library system, and supportive professors.
