Joining Saveetha Engineering College helped to take a better aim at my ambition and studying here has truly been a life-changing experience. When I joined saveetha I knew I wanted to be a very good engineer but I had no idea what that meant or what I should do or what it takes to become the engineer I wanted to be. The expectations I had on this college has exceeded in every possible way. It has not only nurtured my academic growth but also helped me develop personally, socially and professionally. Saveetha Engineerong college helped me to take charge of my future and set clear goals. Saveetha Engineering College strongly emphasizes on independent decision-making. Saveetha Engineering College uses flexi learn curriculum. There are few mandatory courses as well as pool of elective to choose from it. Students have to complete certain credits to earn their degree. Few courses have prerequisites to be completed to choose a particular subject. I have choosen Bachelor's of engineering in Computer Science and Engineering because it helps me explore both hardware, networking and software line of work. We can get admissions in this college through TNEA counseling if you are a student from Tamil Nadu or if you have cut-off of 175 and above. For students from other state we can get admissions directly too.

Saveetha Engineering College follows Flexi learn in which I can choose my own faculty from the given options. I can choose faculty members who I feel like I can relate to them and their teaching skills and my learning patterns go hand in hand. Almost every faculty member in Saveetha Engineering College has prior work experience in their field of teaching. Almost all faculty members have seperate time given to them for their research and almost everyone have published research papers. Few of my faculty members have at least 5 to 6 years of experience in software field. They are friendly yet professional and easily approachable. We have many exercises for programming courses so that we have hands on technical knowledge.

The placement cell at Saveetha Engineering College plays a crucial role in ensuring students are well trained for their professional journeys. From second year, the college's placement cell starts providing students training for necessary skills to thrive in workplace and crack interviews with ease. This early preparation gives students a head start in their recruitment. Students in sixth semester and beyond are trained for even specified field in their preferred domain. Our college's curriculum has mandatory courses related to placement training to make it more efficient. Overall, the placement cell is extremely effective in bridging the gap between academia and industry ensuring students are industry-ready.

Saveetha Engineering College has a spacious infrastructure. The college contains smart classrooms, separate reading rooms, seminar halls and a well-stocked library. We have discussion rooms where we are trained and outdoor place where we can study. The campus is green and we have hostels, cafe, mess and essentials in our campus. Here, we have a balanced environment for learning as well as relaxation. We have well equipped labs for 3D printing, drone technology and we have certified trainers for multiple other technologies.

Saveetha Engineering College hosts two to four event day per semester. In this event day we have workshops and games that we can attend. There are various club activities such as coders club, tech society and more. We can choose one or more clubs as per your interests. There is also a club for startups and they help us to network and give us enough training and resources to start our own startups. Saveetha Engineering College has extracurricular activities such as dance club and yuva club. We also have NSS, YRC and sports activities. We also have cultural events that are held during the summer and it happens for three days. Joining this college was one of the best decisions ever made by me.
